I've used Shopify for about three monthsI would be wary to recommend it to anyone ***There is about a less than 50% chance you will be able reach someone when you call their hotlineI've left my phone number several times through that as well and I've come to now expect about a 1/chance of a call backI've set up calendly appointments that are not met by themWhen I do get a call half the time the staff are unhelpful and proceed to say that most of my issues with my site are not their issues and they wish to not deal with themYet they continue to wish to charge meUnfortunately I've spent the time setting up the store, and it will be some time before I wish to learn and navigate through another platformIf you do need to learn to use a website builder, maybe try another ***
If you already know how to use Shopify and don't need to call them so much, you might be fine
I recently have started three businesses. I needed to build an online store for one of them and found shopify link through a [redacted] ad. I'm SOOOOOO GLAD I clicked on it! Shopify offers so many fantastic and helpful features and a huge assortment of APPS that you can add to your online store! Had a few issues installing one app, but was able to contact the 3rd party host for it and it was solved immediately! Everytime I have an issue, I call shopify! They are 24/7 and always are quick to answer the phone and help answer my questions! If they don't know the answer, they try to find out for you, which is great! Depending on what type of company or store you are looking to open, it can get a little pricey with the additional apps, however, Shopify made sure to help in that department by offering me a 10% discount on the full year, PLUS I received the Shipping Calculator for FREE! & I love I can sell on [redacted]! I would definitely recommend Shopify to any of my colleagues and friends!

They should have a manual renewal payment for the website account. They only have the auto-renewal option.
