We are sorry for any disappointment As our team let you know via email, your Shopkick account showed repeated breaches of our policies, particularly our scan and device use policies, and as such it had to be closed It is always unfortunate when we have to remove a user from our community, but it is our responsibility to protect both our rule-following shopkickers and our partners who fund our free gift cards We hope you’ll understand, and wish you well

We apologize again for any disappointment However, the terms of service to which all Shopkick app users consent at sign up are clear on our rules and our policies for closing accounts that show violations of these rules that are in place to protect our community In accordance with these terms, your Shopkick account was closed after repeated violations of our few rules We have manually reviewed this determination several times to ensure that our rules were applied fairly, and the determination is final We do hope you'll understand

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is the same response they are giving me via customer supportThey have not apologized, they instantly accused me via email and they kept sending the same email template over and over, we are getting nowhere I have been falsely accusedWe have done nothing wrongI believe their system is defective because it thinks my wife and I are the same person, but we are notMy wife has also contacted ShopKick, and received the same templately responseShopkick are now denying that this is the case, they keep changing their storyNow they won't divulge the real reason as to why they banned my and my wife accountsWhat is actually going on here??? Something feels very wrong and very dishonest I am asking you to pay out my wife and my earnings on ebay gift cardsThis is around $totalI then wish to never deal with ShopKick againWe earn't these credits fair and square and now you are telling us that we are banned and not explaining why?? We are sorry for any continued disappointment It is our policy and common practice not to divulge our rule breach detection techniques, for security reasons We have, however, manually reviewed your Shopkick activity several times and must confirm for a final time that it shows repeated rule breaches and had to be closed for that reason We must protect our community and keep Shopkick free and fair for all rule-following members

While we are sorry you have had a negative experience, we must confirm again (as we did via email) that, upon repeated manual reviews, your Shopkick account activity does show repeated breaches of our terms of service Our policies are in place to protect our community of shopkickers and retailers and make it fair and fun for everyone They can be found here [redacted] Per these terms, we are not able to re-open an account that shows this type of activity, nor can we release the kicks from such an account, or divulge our rule breach detection methodsWe hope that this information is helpful, and we wish you the best

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I’m sorry you don’t understand, it really bothers me that I see people out there with two devices in each hand collecting kicks, here I tried to obey the rules (which for some reason you can’t tell me and it don’t make since), I’m just asking for you to reopen my account I feel that I did nothing wrong the only thing I can figure is that my year old mom shares my Apple ID but lives in a separate household with a separate phone and I downloaded her the app for her (but she still able to youuse hers) and somehow that’s what your talking about cause I honestly can not figure out for the life of me why you closed my account just seems like because I was always getting my kicks scanned(I work at Walmart) so it was convenient and apparently I got to many kicks just like so many of the comments on the app say you guys didn’t like it Sincerely,Michelle [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There has been no violation in my account at all. What has happened, is that, you have probably linked my wifes and my accounts as we shop together and live in the same house. If this is not the case, then please explain the actual reason. I reject this business response for this reasons as Shopkick have not provided any support to their claims. I believe their system is incorrectly linking accounts and assuming multipleaccounts under one identity. Im not sure why they are not willing to help. We are sorry for any disappointment or confusion We sent you two emails (after the auto-acknowledgement you mention) in response to your questions, and did receive responses from you as well, so we believe those messages did get through to you As our team let you know in those messages, your Shopkick account showed repeated breaches of both our scan and account/device use rules; in cases like this, we cannot allow the account to remain open It is always unfortunate when we have to remove a user from our community, but it is our responsibility to protect both our shopkickers and our partners who fund the free gift cards We hope you’ll understand, and wish you well

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Shop Kick has not shown me the proof that I broke the rules, they just keep sending the general response information This is the third time that they have sent me the same response, but no proof I believe that they just took all my shop kicks because they did not want to give me the gift cards What would be fair is if they would give me my gift cards, because I do not see a valid reason to take my points because I did go to those locations!!!!!!Sincerely, [redacted] ***
