*** I was paying top dollar for all the stuff I buy there to collect points after I collected points which is $they stopped my card and I have been, for a week, trying to see what the issue and they are delaying me
I am really unsatisfied with them and will never be buying anything over there no more and on top of this I bought a $gift card which embarrassed me since I gifted it to someone and when they actually tried to use it, it said that this card is not activatedI brought it back to shoppers and they wouldn't give me the attention or the help or anything to solve this issueBasically I lost 150$ and they *** didn't give me back a penny of it

Aside from the cosmetics department the Shoppers Drug Mart located in the Pickering Shopping Mall The worse department is the Postal and the manager is as rude as they come

As son as you walk through the door at Shoppers Drug Mart on Parliament Street in Toronto, you receive negative vibes from certain employees *** Very unpleasant experience that will definitely deter me from patronizing this store ever again!
Shoppers Drug Mart ought to hire customer-oriented staff ***!

I am contacting you to make you aware that the small things you do for your customers really do pay off in keeping devoted customers. I have been purchasing products for over 20 years at the Shoppers Home Health Care Store. My monthly bill averages a bit over $600.00. (Yes a very large amount of guaranteed money) Over the years I always have looked forward to the once a year rewards system where if you spend $100 you can get a $20 voucher towards a purchase on a later date (this usually took place in Nov-Dec). A few years in a row in the past they gave out a free book of postage stamps if you spent over $100. With time and changes these little bonus offers are becoming extinct. My opinion is once you continue to eliminate the little things it then makes your store just like any other store in my eyes. It will not matter soon if I continue to purchase my products at Shoppers or go to another provider. We do have store just up the street in my town that I am able to purchase these exact items at that I purchase at Shoppers. We are only talking about a chance at a $20 discount on a product once a year and chances are the store once again will come ahead because almost everything at the Home Health Care Store is over $20. to begin with. The reason I am writing this voucher is because I just shopped and got my November purchases and found out there is no sign of a $20 voucher offer being offered this year. Small little things mean a lot to devoted customers. It saddens me that Shoppers continues to take away the small things that truly make a big difference.

I purchased a [redacted] gift card on April 18, 2016 and tried to use it that same day which I have been able to do many times in the past with no issue. When I tried to use it at the retailer the card was not activated. This was extremely embarrassing and frustrating because I just paid for the card and it should be active. I called the store and the employee directed me to call their 1-800 customer service line. I called the number and the representative was polite and told me it would be at least a couple business days to resolve. I figured this was unacceptable but figured I would have to wait. I followed their instructions and sent photos of activation slip etc. In the interim I thought I could avoid the headaches and I returned to the store to attempt a refund only to be refused and directed again to call customer service. I completely understand the no refund on gift card purchases if they work properly but what if you do not receive the product you paid for??

I have not received any correspondence from the customer service department of Shoppers Drug Mart and the only updates I receive is when I call for updates. It has been almost 2 weeks and issue has still not been resolved. Customer service department placing the blame on their third party card activation partners. I purchased this card to buy a specific product and now have to wait for this issue to be resolved before I can make my purchase. Completely unacceptable.

on 17th nov 2014, I visited the shoppers drug mart at 4827 Kingsway Burnaby BC V5H 4T6 which is near my house. I had to take a selfie with a perfume product for my marketing assignment in class. The whole time, the staff including the manager acted like I was there to shoplift. I myself work at a bank and have worked at many retail stores and never once have encountered such an experience. It was so humiliating and insulting even after I explained that it was for a class project. You guys need to train your staff on better customer service because this is unacceptable behaviour. I will NEVER visit that location again even though it is 2 mins from my house and I almost shop from there every week.

seriously get your act together. I am going to share this experience with all my friends and family.

What's with Shoppers - we were provided with a contest card to enter to win 1 million points. The site referred to on the card does not exist. I googled the contest and after much searching found a Shoppers site referring to the contest that lasts till the end of February - the site indicated that the contest was closed. I tried contacting Shoppers at the email address on their website - response received was that the email address does not exist.
What is going on? Can they be trusted? I now have my doubts.

Wed, Mar 11, 2015 visited Shoppers Drug Mart store in Elliot Lake, On, (Store # 667)
I purchased several items and paid with my debit card. While waiting for a friend, I checked the sales slip because it seemed much higher than it should have been.
I was charged 12.99 for a carton of 6 [redacted] drinks, I purchased 2 cartons, the sign on the shelf read Sale - 8.99. Also a pkg. of [redacted] feminine products was advertised at 28.99, I was charged 34.99. I then brought this to the attention of the sales clerk who when and checked the prices on both items, I had made a mistake on the feminine products she had charged the correct price However, the [redacted] was marked at 8.99 and she said she would give me a refund and charge what was marked. To my surprise, she charged the 12.99 each again, I brought this to her attention and she denied ever saying she would give it to me for the price marked. And proceeded to charge 12.99 each which she had just refunded. I was in total disbelief that she could do such a thing, paid and left the store very unhappy. This is not the first time myself, my family and my friends have had this experience. I suggest you train you staff to be more efficient and also treat the customers in a polite friendly manner, it was very embarrassing to be shouted at in a line up of customers by a sales clerk whom the other customers knew was totally in the wrong and she did make the statement previously mentioned.

I had the worse experience at your westney and highway 2 location, purchased two more paid cards, one for $250 and another for $200, give them as gift, to find out there was no money in any of the cards. Now I understand that this might have been a glitch but that wasn't the issue, the problem was that I was treated extremely bad by the assistant manager Rod T. I simply wanted him to re print the receipt, since I kew exactly what day and time and paid by [redacted], he refused to help me, he kept on saying that it is not possible since I did not use optimum card. I was extremely frustrated with him since I knew it was possible to print the receipt, he was extremely rude, not helpful and condescending. Finally thank God that another supervisor was there once I explained the situation he was able to print the receipt right a way. I bought these cards from shopers and shopers should be responsible for fixing the problem, instead I was told I need to go and deal with [redacted].

Shoppers Drug Mart has gone right down the drain since it became part of the grocery chain. I have had too many complaints and have gone to another pharmacy for my perscriptions. My husband still goes there on Thursday for seniors discount but more often than not they forget to give him the discount. He goes back to get his refund [redacted] I think maybe they should be trained or re-schooled. Too much aggrevation to suit me. I just moved on.

The location on Dakota shoppers drug mart at the Canada post the employee Eroca refused to provide me services because I was talking to my mother in law in my language. Does Eroca know where she is does she know she is in Canada. Does she know she needs to leave her personal [redacted] opinions to her self not bring them at work. S[redacted]. She was throwing my package around but to the next person was Canadian and she was very nice to them. That day Eroca represented Shoppers Drug Mart [redacted] and lacking of training on how to work with diversity of people. Maybe you should input more training about working with different people

I was in shoppers drugmart the new locations at parklawn and lakeshore blvd, on the morning of Monday April 20,2015. I usually got into shoppers because of their great deals on soda and cosmetics. I tried to pull a 12 pack of coke and the ginger ale pack display next to it came toppling down on me. I managed to catch the display before it came crashing to the ground and all their merchandise would be ruined. I yelled for help for about 60 seconds before anyone even came to help me. I am really upset because no one even asked if I was ok. I stayed in the store for almost 15 minutes after that and I didn't get any sort of apology from a manager or sales person. Instead I saw a sales person go up to another sales person at the cash register and tell her what happened and they had a wonderful giggle on my behalf! I am appalled at the lack of concern for the customers safety and how careless that display was merchandised. I will no longer go to shoppers drugmart!

They don't offer price match. Overpriced product, unfriendly customer support. Analysts predict downturn in national support for operations like this

December 30th, 2014, was at Shoppers Drug Mart Sunridge Mall 2525 36th St NE
Unit 135, Sunridge Mall, Calgary, AB
(403) 280-6667

I was at pharmacy with a sick kids waiting for half an hour for prescription pickup. Later on I figured out that they do not apply my insurance coverage and charging me full cost. I have told them that I have insurance coverage and they finally found in their system, however, they do not know how to apply within family even though it clearly states family coverage. I end up asking my husband to take picture of insurance coverage card and send me to show them a proof . Even taking a look at the card and insurance number and matching it in their system, they were still unable to apply. DON'T KNOW WHY. Anyways it took another good half an hour and finally they told me that they can't do it., so I have to pay full amount. I told the Pharmacist ( Mubeen, who turns out to be the owner of the store) that you have wasted one hour of my time here. He threatened me that I cannot complain here. ( Of course being an owner of store he thinks that it is matter of repute if a customer complains) He became very rude and threaten me to leave the store and also threatened that he will call the security. Of course his threatening behavior start argument and I was mad being insulted without any misconduct or fault. I have purchased some retails items, after few minutes I approached a cashier to pay for the items, he chased me down to cashier window and start threatening insulting again. It was disgusting, I don't know why they will give franchise to someone so unprofessional and rude. [redacted]. I am sure CCTV footage will show how he came at the cashier window and start threatening.
