Very pleased with the quality of work from Shoreline Fence! Paul was able to provide a quote right away and was even able to work my project in earlier than originally scheduled No surprises - work was accomplished when and how specified Would call them again!

It all started out well While their service personnel are clearly given only very basic training I was lucky to draw people who were generally helpful and professional during most of my time with the company I had more reason to call service personel than I would have liked (slow speeds, etc) but nothing that would rise to the level of a concern - more an annoyance
When I moved this month this all changed I paid my last month's bill by phone (my bad I guess) and paid in advance up to my cut off date at the end of July I should also state that I was out of town for several weeks before the move because of my new job I started recieveing computer generated calls reminding me to return my equipment not long after this payment went through (again, my bad for not figuring it out I guess) Apparently Mediacom turned off my service for the entirety of the last month I paid for When I arrived at the Mediacom office to return my equipment at 8:in the morning the day of my move, the place was locked up tighter than a drum even though their website said they would be open at 8: I was one of families in the parking lot with the same story, so it wasn't just me While I was standing by the door speaking with another waiting customer an employee keyed in and locked the door quickly behind him
I returned an hour later, and they were open, but I had to stand in line for an HOUR to return my equipment because they only had one or two windows open even though they were undertaking the digital conversion at the time They even started to serve people from the END of the line rather than people who had been waiting for a hour at one point So, I finally get out of there - good riddance, right? Nope
I received a bill at my new address for the cost of the equipment which clearly states that I paid for service up to August 6th (a week past my move date) in advance After a final call to their customer support line I apparently don't owe for the equipment, but they are not going to refund the month of service I paid for in advance that they did not supply since apparently the dates on the bill that they sent to me no longer exist in their computer system
I had heard all of the Mediacom bad service stories, and until the last month was counting myself lucky and honestly beginning to think that some of them were untrue Not anymore

Very pleased with the quality of work from Shoreline Fence! Paul was able to provide a quote right away and was even able to work my project in earlier than originally scheduled. No surprises - work was accomplished when and how specified. Would call them again!

Mediacom has been nothing less than a headache. From unreliable service to billing issues and the occasional rude customer service representative. I can honestly say that I have never spoken to anyone who has or has ever had Mediacom service that had anything good to say about the quality of service and the employees they have to deal with.
