Worst customer service that I have ever experiencedI was signed up by a representative (Conor D.) ) who spoke too fast during the contract process and would not slow down so I could understand himAfter I reluctantly agreed to the program he would not respond to my emails or phone calls when I had a questionI even tried calling the Executive line and they were no helpTruely the worst customer service I have ever experiencedThey want your business but make it impossible to cancel when they avoid you Connor later accused me of "personally attacking him" when I asked why he wouldn't answer my questionI was just a confused customer trying to understand a few things about the programI would never attack anyone I just wanted someone to answer me!!!

This company uses fraudulent practices to represent the clientYou can easily reconcile your debt by contacting them directlyDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS A THIRD PARTYYou will spend more money and your credit score will take a devastating hit

Great company - got me out of debt in and a half years and saved me over $13, Creditor calls were frustrating but I stuck with the program and let ClearOne knock em all down for me one by one Thanks ClearOne, will definitely be recommending you all in the future!

This is one of worst companies II have ever dealt with. They could never come to agreement with any of my bill collector. When they could they alway requested more money to settle. Even after I told them numerous times I didn't have the money. They made me wait 3 month of non payment before they would start calling. Multiple times Employees told us if we didn't like the program our best bet is to file bamkruptcy.. a lot of the bills we initially put in the program which they said they could settlement with they couldn't. This put us months behind on our bills with them. Now the only option is bankruptcy. Which one thing I didn't want to do. When we did withdraw from the program they took 1170 fee that was in account. I understand them wanting to get there money. But they should have taken a fee on what we paid in the creditor. They could have used it to pay the other account in full that only had 1 month left in it. I pay only 900 to the company out of 17000. The reason I withdrew I couldnt support myself anymore. I had more money going out then I could pay. Between withdrawing accounts and the stuff that couldn't be put in the program initially. Your best bet is don't look at them if you don't have a lot of debt. If you are in military and have clearance this program could cause your loose your job. And they should be knowledge about this before they sign you up for this program. I have told them numerous times that this could be an issue

Clear One signed me up, quoted specific prices and then shipped me off to a separate debt collector who is charging me 25% over the costs I was quoted. They are also trying really hard to scare me into signing a settlement I don't believe is fair to me. I don't like the fact that I can sign up with Clear One, and have to do business with "[redacted]".

I am a resident in Big Rapids, MI and as a member of sites like [redacted] I feel it very important to give feedback on businesses regardless of a positive or negative experience. One of the things I did before contacting ClearOne Advantage, was I came here and read the complaints. It was a difficult decision for me to "sign on" with this company based on the complaints. However, I was backed into a corner and it was decision time. I needed to file bankruptcy or find a settlement company I could work with. Reading the complaints, I called ClearOne and kept these complaints on the screen in front of me, to see if I might have the same experience. From the beginning, the representative of ClearOne was super clear about the program and what it meant for me and my credit. He made it very clear that my debt collectors were going to call me, harass me, even lie to me, or threaten me to try and get their payment or their full amount owed. This has happened, [redacted] is one company that called and threatened me and lied to me. ClearOne also made it clear that they would call on occasion to see if I had any more money I could put into the account to help them work faster. They have done that and been very polite, kind, and understanding! They have only settled one of my debts thus far but I have not been in the program long. They are currently working with all of my debtors and are in active negotiations. I am so happy I used this company! As long as I can hold up to my end of the agreement, I am sure to have a positive experience! I'm really not sure why 90% of their complaints even exist! This company is clear on their expectations! So when you call, PAY ATTENTION! Every detail matters when you are trusting a settlement company! I will return to this site when my program is complete for a final synopsis.

Clear one Advantage has been nothing but one big headache for ,they have ,returned a payment to ,they failed to withdraw a payment, and closed my account ,all of this happened because I moved,I sent in all the paperwork on time for proof of my change of address, but they didn't process it in a timely manner,
The next issue I had ,was they asked if the could withdraw a payment early so thet could save an account,I gave them permission to do so,in the end they didn't withdraw the early payment ,and lost the account, but they say it was my fault and I still had to pay their fee on the account.
As I was talking talking to an agent,he read me back some notes from a previous agent that I talked to,and what she had noted and what she advised me of was totally different ,I was appalled it sound like she was covering her butt
Not in this lifetime will I ever recommend this company to anyone.

I signed up and filled out all documentation. Then received one phone call from them tried to call back an upward of 6 times just a few minutes later. I even left messages and tried the next day to no response. I then tried to call today just to get told they closed my account because they hadn't heard from me. My first payment hadn't come out yet and was scheduled to come out tomorrow. The man I spoke with was incredibly rude and yelled at me. He told me I could reinstate my account but couldn't tell me what I would have to go through. I told him he was rude and that no one would answer my phone calls and I was no longer interested.

I guess the results vary but in my case, I have nothing but positive things to say about COA. Last year, I found myself in a very tricky situation and I could no longer afford keeping up with my monthly credit card payments. I had to give up. I reached a point where I virtually had no funds in my bank accounts as I was falling apart with my job. I did my research and stumbled upon COA. The first time I talked to the a rep on the phone, he explained how the process works. How big of a hit my credit would take. My credit score was 734. I did not sign up the same day. I went back and did some more research. Being a college student, I didn't want that to be a distraction and ultimately stressed out. As a result, I opted to go ahead and give them a shot. I signed up on 5/15/15 for a 36 months long period. I signed the agreement, they sent me a welcome package and was charged a $25 fee upon registering. I signed up with 7 accounts ([redacted] and two personal loans). Just a little over a month later, on 6/25/15, COA settled my [redacted] account. On 11/10/15 it was [redacted]'s turn, on 12/18 [redacted] and more recently, one 1/19/16, one of my personal loan account has been settled. In about 8 months, 4 out of 7 accounts have been settled.

I've been very satisfied and never had a problem contacting them. I'm so happy I chose them. As I previously mentioned, my credit went from 734 to 576. I'm in the process of rebuilding that.

I am beyond frustrated with this company. I completed the enrollment process in June 2015 and paid my entire settled balance in February 2016 and thought I made it clear that I wanted all settlements completed right away because it was important that I see an improvement in my credit score as soon as possible. Not only did I ask if my balance reflected everything I would owe, but I asked multiple times and was assured that it should be complete and since I paid earlier than expected it could potentially be less. Not true. As it happened, they requested more money to complete the settlement process and I paid it. I have been following my credit report and 2 of the settled debts were still showing up in my report as in collections. I checked on the website and noticed that one was settled in full and the other was in structured settlement. I asked again that this account be paid in full, per the settlement agreement, since the funds were available and received an email to the effect that they would reach out to the creditor. I never received a response, but I noticed today that the account was settled and there is still $405.35 in my Clear One account. I then received a call from Clear One today that stated another creditor had contacted them about establishing a settlement agreement. What? I thought all my creditors had been added last year when I first enrolled and they supposedly pulled my history to include any outstanding debts. This amount can supposedly be settled for $697.76 which just completely astonishes me. I was placed on hold to speak with someone in the customer 'care' department and was cut off after holding for several minutes. I attempted to call back and received a voice message that no one could take my call at this time, please leave a message. I left a voicemail and also sent an email. I just want answers and would also like to know if the balance of $405.35 that shows in my Clear One account will be applied to the $697.76 amount that this new creditor is to be paid and if Clear One thinks they are entitled to keep additional money for their poor services in settling these accounts.
