No contact by agent.
Our agent Adrian Barrera made it sound like she would have our property sold in less than a month. At first she would always keep us updated on what was going on. She always returned our calls and text messages. After 3 weeks with our house on the market she stopped calling us and stopped texting us. I have tried contacting her for over a week and still no response. Adrian Barrera only did one open house in that month. I never heard of an agent giving up on a client like this. After the first two weeks there has been no effort at all to sell my property. Not sure what type of company or agent would give up on a client after two weeks.

The seller's email was entered into the system incorrectly by our office admin.  When we received the complaint from the Revdex.com on Friday 1-6-2017 we immediately saw the error and changed the email.  The agent had been...

notified prior from the complainant, however he was concerned that it was some kind of scam and didn't go further with it.  In the future the agent will bring such concerns to his manager.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused the complainant and our client.       -- Lyle E. Update: I've received 9 more emails from this business since January 2nd.

Review: Shorewest realitors [redacted] and [redacted] not changing the status of real estate property that has accepted offers. MLS listing 1458730 was changed from "Active" status to "Active W/O on 2/29/16 and then on the same day, changed back to "Active". The closing date on this home is on 4/29/16. The agents are misrepresenting the proper home status based on contractual agreement.

For complaint ID [redacted] for [redacted] MLS #1458730 Buyer [redacted] had an accepted offer with a home sale contingency it was contingent on his home at [redacted] selling/closing by 5/2/16 he did have a 72 hour bump clause with first right of refusal…my office has a log book with all offers written/accepted I put this home in the book with it to stay active in MLS and continue to show…MLS rules are you have to put active with offer or pending in the MLS with homes that have accepted offers except those with a home sale contingency. Our office girl put in MLS as active with offer she was new and still being trained I caught it right away and had her put back to active. [redacted] signed an offer to purchase that states on lines 28-29 Seller may keep the property on the market and accept secondary offers after binding acceptance of this Offer. I spoke to his agent today [redacted] from Help-U-Sell [redacted] Realty that told me Mr. [redacted] didn’t want anyone else to be able to go through the house after his accepted offer. If you have any other questions please let us know… [redacted] & [redacted]Shorewest Realtors###-###-#######-###-####cd[redacted]@shorewest.com

I would NEVER recommend this company or real estate agent [redacted] for any real estate transaction. EVER. This was my first time selling a home and because of her failure to verify the payoff balance in writing and negotiated the sale of my home based off wrong number, we were forced to come up with thousands of dollars at closing a week before! They refused to make it right and told me they did nothing wrong and made sure she got her full commission. In my opinion, this is completely unethical!! I would NEVER use this company or real estate agent ever again! They only care about money and not their clients best interest! Horrific!!

Review: A real estate agent at this office has been conducting business in an unethical and unprofessional manner, manipulating contract deals and condoning clients' unprofessional behavior. I have had the unfortunate experience of selling a home and losing property and money due to her manipulation.Desired Settlement: I hope to be returned my property, or refunded the money I paid under false pretenses.

Response:

On or about October 14, 2014, I conducted a property search for homes in “[redacted], WI” using the Shorewest Realty website. [redacted] came up in the search. I visited this home on October 16 and an offer to purchase was drafted. I was not aware that the legal address for the property was [redacted]. At no time did I intend to search for or offer to purchase a home in [redacted].
The mistake of believing this home to be in [redacted] was discovered when family tried to locate the address using Maqpuest and could not find the house. If you type in “[redacted] WI,” Mapquest gives you directions to the approximate [redacted], which is actually in [redacted]. In order to get directions to the home at issue, you must type in [redacted], rather than [redacted].
When the mistake was discovered, I pulled up the Shorewest listing again. However, the listing was changed to reflect an address of [redacted], WI. I do not have a printout of the original Shorewest listing with the [redacted] address. However, I took a screen shot of my internet search history that shows that [redacted] address. I also have a printout of the adjourning lot which is also legally in [redacted], but was also similarly listed as [redacted]. This adjourning lot’s Shorewest listing also has been fixed to reflect an address of [redacted].
While my realtor drafted the contract to purchase with a [redacted] address, amendments by Shorewest continued to list the address with an [redacted] address.
The [redacted] address has implications that are of great concern for me which include resale value and possible annexation into the [redacted] school district. Also, I searched for comparable homes in [redacted] for making our offer price. [redacted] home values are less than [redacted] home values.
I feel I've been misled by Shorewest into believing the house was located in [redacted] and after the contract to purchase was made, the change to the website was made to reflect the address of [redacted]. Essentially, I am out $5,000 of earnest money because of this.
