My name is [redacted] from Show Me Motors, I am replying to a complaint for [redacted].   Let me explain this section by section. First, yes she was given a cash price, but when it was clear she was needed to finance, the price did change due to her past credit history and the...

fact that there are fees in financing bad credit customers. I, [redacted], tried to explain this to her, but I guess she didn't understand. Secondly, we have the title to every car that we sell, we do not give them to the customer right away for reasons such as this. If there is problems with the financing and we have to take the car back or change finance companies we are able to do that with out applying for a new title. As for the price changing back to some other number, I explained to her that she would have to pay taxes on the price before her down payment. I guess she didn't understand that either. At no point did I tell her that in order to drive the car over the weekend she had to agree to any of this. As for the issues with the finance company they were solely on her and her alone. She failed to disclose that she did not have a valid drivers license, due to an accident with out insurance. After we made her aware of that it took her almost a week to come up with the $60 to send to the state. Then it did take the state a bit to make her license good again. Also by this time, the finance company called her landlord to find out she was being evicted. I then had to re-date and re-contract all the paperwork and try to get another loan, which I was able to do. But in doing so the finance company would only allow for 51 months instead of 60 months. When Ms Owens came in I tried to explain to her what the problem was, and she said that she didn't want that. I repeated it to her saying that due to the problems that she herself has caused, suspended drivers license, the eviction, time passing to resolve that stuff, this is what it is. I also said that if she felt she couldn't afford it that I would gladly take the car back. She advised that she couldn't and I said I would have the salesperson give her a ride to work or home. She stated that she had stuff to get out of the car. She the walked outside, got in the car, and drove off. Knowing full well that there was no approval at this point, she did not sign any new papers, and her, herself stated that she didn't want the car and couldn't afford it.I then contacted her and ask her what she was doing. She told me that I could have my car back when I gave her back her money. I stated that this is not how things work, you knowingly just stole my car, she could careless. I then contacted our repo company [redacted].   The sent someone by, I handed them the extra key and they went and retrieved our car.As for her $500 dollars, I am sure she can state that she drove less miles and should get the whole amount, but also in that form it states any repo fees, or other fee incurred will be charged to the consumer. I have a clean up fee of $150 dollars, oil change, and $250 repo fee.I am wondering at what point she would take responsibility for her actions. In the letter that she sent to you, she clearly can detail out how she feels she has been wronged, but doesn't mention why she had our car for 45 days!  And to recap that last statement, yes it took 45 days for her to get all of her stuff in order, with the drivers license and being evicted.

I have faxed over paper to show that the vehicle was bought with remainder of factory warranty of only power train. This, however, will not cover the problem that she is having. To the best of our knowledge everything work on the car when she bought it. Please let me know if there is anything else...
