Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
Merritt [redacted]
I was never given a receipt she said I would get one once the full amount was paid which I was not happy with. I have been out of town for work and I have made several attempt to collect my money she threaten to get a restraining order on me I also made a complaint at the Oberlin police department. you can call to verify my story [redacted] or talk to the police officer who took the report officer Lett [redacted] and I have not left the area. like to also add that she threaten to charge me with slander.also I kept tracked of what I paid on a piece of paper  my computer is a not working right I would have to mail you anything you need.

Business response taken over the phone by Revdex.com staff 2/5/16.Everything was documented by her business, it is all on a piece of paper.  The consumer lied, he lied about the whole situation, he has left Oberlin and moved out of town because he is broke. When he went there in October and asked her...

to do this commission she was very amicable with him. He asked her to do a $700 commission and in her field the only way they proceed on a commission is when they get half of the material cost of the project as a down payment.  This covers for the material cost of the project.  This consumer didn't have it all up front, but wanted to make payments.  This consumer accused her of waiting too long to start the commission, but she didn't have all of the money yet. He had the base of a lamp that he wanted her to make a lampshade for, and he knew what he was asking her to make was a Tiffany. Stained galss requires a pattern, but he didn't have a pattern. She went to a stained glass warehouse and found a pattern book.  She showed it to him, and for that base there were 12 different patterns to choose from, the consumer has that book, this cost her $20.  She didn't want to start the project until he had half the money down, and the consumer knew she wasn't starting it until January 1st. Out of the money he gave she refunded $60, which he has already cashed.  The only thing she withheld was $50 for the initial deposit and $20 for the book. When he came to her shop on January 1st the only thing he said to her was that he found someone to do his lampshade cheaper.  She showed him his receipt.  You just don't change your mind on a commission due to price.  She showed him the invoice, explained she would give $60 back.  He asked for the cash right then, she said no, because she has someone who does all of the invoicing who comes once a week and when he gets in he will cut a check. On January 2nd the consumer sent at least 6 text messages to say he was going to the papers and Revdex.com. She called the police to ask if she could file harassment charges if someone is harassing her. She went to the police station and found out the procedure for this and advised the consumer to cease and if there were any further problems they would go to litigation.
