This company charges their customers' credit card on the spot when taking the measurements for the job they promise to complete within a matter of weeks, a month topsIt has been reported on several occasions, that 5-months can go by where nobody from the business can be reached on the phone or in person and when the job finally gets done, it is done so with very poor quality

I hired Showercrafter to install a shower glass door to be done before ChristmasI had them come and measure and quote almost whole month ahead of time, he assured me if I gave him the almost $deposit that day that he would get the door done before ChristmasAfter he got my money, the week later they started telling me no that is not true and probably wont happen before Christmas, and that they had customers to do before Christmas, like it wasn't their fault they had so many and I should be understanding that they overloaded themselves
My husband went into the store a couple weeks later and they told him the exact date it was going to another company to strengthen the glass/ temper it, and it might still be installed the friday before ChristmasWe never heard from themThe other date a man gave me was Dec *** it would happen if it didn't on ChristmasI was upset since my family drove miles for just a few days for Christmas and left before the ***I called anyway and the secretary told me everyone was on vacation and NO work was getting done this week! WHen the guy told me the ***! SO many lies! Then she told me to call the Jan ***So I did, and they told me someone was on phone and call me back and she didn't$during holidays is a lot of money to throw away for no reasonThey never seemed sorry and only made excuses and made no exact plans that they stuck with to ever install the shower door and took my moneyI am NEVER using this company again and very unhappy

It has been reported on several occasions, that 5-6 months can go by where nobody from the business can be reached on the phone or in person and when the job finally gets done, it is done so with very poor quality.

Review: We ordered shower glass on May [redacted]. They did not attempt to delivery til July [redacted]. On July [redacted] they came to install and told us they could not because a piece was cut too short. We were told they would be back the following Monday with a new piece. I have called every week since then and been told someone would get back to me. I was told it was not done in production, then I was told it was and that they had to speak to someone about scheduling us for install. And again no one would return my phone calls. Since July [redacted] I have been asking to speak with the owner and asked for my deposit to be refunded. Every time I am told the owner has to make that decision and is not in the store and cannot be reached. I would like my $500 back so that I can order glass from someone else. We have a 3 year old and there is a large glass door left loose in our shower. And I have my handicap father here who cannot shower. According to the reviews online, they are doing this to multiple people and if you don't call them and hound them they will just disappear with your money and your product. When I told the bookkeeper there about the reviews I saw he said he knew that this was happening to multiple people. So they obviously do not care.Desired Settlement: Refund of my deposit.

Review: I am making this complaint about the delay of my ordered shower glass from Shower Crafters on July [redacted], 2013. I was told by the sales representative that the ordered product will be available for pick up two weeks after July [redacted] when the measurement were taken, but today September [redacted], 2013 neither have I got my order or any call from the company regarding the reason for delay. I paid the product deposit $648 with my debit card. I am making this complaint and hoping to get help in recovering my full deposit amount $648.Desired Settlement: Refund

[redacted] ordered glass to be installed by her contractor [redacted]. Her contact person and number was for [redacted] and the glass was ready for pick by [redacted] on July **, 2013. Repeated calls to [redacted] for the glass pick from July [redacted] on went unanswered. [redacted] called this office on August **, 2013 and was told her glass has been ready for pickup for a month and her contractor has not returned any of our calls for pick up. [redacted] told our customer service department she was no longer working with her contractor. At that point we asked if she wanted the glass installed by us. [redacted] stated she was not paying for an installation she wanted her money back. She also stated to me she was working with her contractor and the customer service representative was lying when she stated that she was not. I immediately called [redacted] and left him a message. [redacted] told me he was not working with [redacted]. [redacted] also told me she was calling him and was looking for the money back for the glass doors from him also. He told me he doesn't owe her any money and doesn't want to be involved. We completed the job we were authorized to do by [redacted] that was signed on July *, 2013. The authorization form clearly states PARTS ONLY will pick up. Every time we call [redacted] back she hangs up. August **, September [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted].
