Show's Auto & Repair

On June 25, 2014 I payed [redacted] $300 to install a new a/c compressor and repair the air conditioner in my [redacted]. When I went to pick it up it was working however the following morning it was not. I messaged him and he said to bring it back in, which I did. He stated that he didnt have the proper tools before and wasnt able to release some of the air in the a/c compressor but thought that he'd fixed the problem and stated that he put more freon in "so you should be good now". I left his shop and by the time I reached the end of the street, the a/c was again blowing hot air. I drove to auto repair shop nearby and had them complete a diagnostics test in which they did. They informed me that the a/c levels were "way off", recharged the system to the correct levels and charged me $150. Thereafter I had no more problems until the morning of July 22, 2014 when the a/c began blowing hot air and making a loud rattling noise. I attempted to reach [redacted] several times by phone to let him know, however he did not answer or return my calls. I again returned to the auto service shop that had gotten the a/c to work properly and after assessing the problem they discovered that the a/c compressor that Mr. [redacted] had "blown" and was "breaking apart". They advised that the compressor should be uninstalled by the person that installed it so that a new one can be obtained - especially since it had only been less than 30 days. It was not safe to continue driving my vehicle with the compressor breaking apart inside. Because Mr. [redacted] did not return my calls I had no choice but to stop driving my SUV and figure out another way back and forth to work until it can be repaired. I and a mutual acquaintance that we both know tried repeatedly to contact Mr. [redacted]. On July 24, 2014 @ 12:48p he called and said that he was going to contact the part dealer where he got the compressor from and get back in touch with me the same day which he did not.
