Review: I used the Showtime app free 30-day trial. They clearly stated that the user needs to cancel before the 30-day period ends. As the trial period was ending, I attempted to cancel. The ability, however, to cancel the subscription seems impossible. There are no directions for the process of canceling. I went to their website and found no link to the process. I intended to call their customer service, but none exists.

I found a phone number on their web site. On my first call, I was given a new phone number to call for help. That phone number was out of service. I again called the website phone number and told them of my experience. The worker told me to go to the website. I told the individual of my situation and again was told to go to the website. I said something to the effect "there is not a single human being I can can speak to for help?"

Finally I asked for a corporate number. I called ###-###-#### and again was told to go to the website.

I wrote a complaint on their website. I still have no clue how to cancel the subscription. I left my phone number and asked for someone to call me to help.

I believe these large corporations have automated "services" and websites for "customer service" for the main purpose of making complaining about poor service to be as cumbersome of a process as possible. They figure they can unfairly charge $10 one thousand times and 995 will just give up and pay the unfair fee. The other five will give up when frustration with the customer service kicks in.

This situation with Showtime scares me because it conceivably could continue forever.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge for not canceling on time expunged. Mostly I want the Showtime company to have a human being call me or a letter of apology from the company with a CC to the Revdex.com.

I would like to live an example of a large faceless corporation being accountable to a single individual consumer.

Review: I've participated in the [redacted] and should have received a prize based on the rules of the promotion. Not only have I not received a prize, I have attempted to contact Showtime through their website twice with no response.Desired Settlement: I am requesting delivery of the prize (poster).
