Complaint: 11192923I am rejecting this response because:For so many years Folks Realty has been pretty goodThe only issue was getting the monthly statementI would often need to call or email to find out where the money was goingThen I would get the explanation of what was repaired and then I might receive a statementThat was when [redacted] was running this part of the businessSince [redacted] has been running the paperwork side of the business, I have gotten a statement every monthThis has been a very welcome change.I can say that I have never asked Folks Realty to pay the HOA dues with the 10% deducted for management feesThat is just insaneBut, since the beginning of our business relationship Folks Realty had deducted the HOA dues in the months of January and July every yearI have never had a problem with paying the HOA duesI have always expected that to be paid in January and July [redacted] did offer to credit March’s transaction by $I did accept itI will accept financial assist to get this matter of past due HOA fees, late payment fees, and the lienEspecially when the issue was created by the company that I have trusted for so many years to manage my propertyFolks Realty does manage property as part of their businessWhen managing anything, the company should know about what they are managingWhen they are not keeping track of the happenings of the property then they are not doing their jobThey are being negligentNot keeping up with the HOAs as they change management is definitely a business flawI am a Property Book Officer in the ArmyIf I managed about 80% of the property that I was charged to manage then I would be in some serious troubleI would have lost equipment due to not inventorying all of it and I would have to pay for the equipment and possible do some jail time depending on the type of equipmentSo, when something changes within the Army Logistics System it is my job, or responsibility, to find what the changes are and how that affects the equipment that I am charged to manageI expect this type of diligence form the people that I do business withWhen Folks Realty is managing property that has an HOA then they SHOULD keep up with the HOA and if/when they change HOA managing agenciesEspecially since they have acknowledged that they know HOAs change management fairly frequentlySo, I see this as they knew that it was a possibility and they chose to not do their job.As far as Folks Realty feeling that they are not responsible to pay the dues or the delinquency...I do expect that Folks Realty to own up to their part of the issueThey dropped the ball on proper property management and they expect someone else, ME, to clean up the mess financially speakingI have never had an issue paying the HOA duesBut, I do not feel I am responsible for the whole financial debtHow could I know that the HOA changed management when Folks Realty was in contact with the original HOA after I signed with themWhen the HOA changed, they should have been on top of the changeYesI did complain about the selling of the propertyI have asked about selling the property several times with [redacted] and never received anything backI asked Wally and [redacted] about the sale of the property and I did not hear anything back form them until after I filed this complaintIt seems that they were not interested in doing their job when I am involvedSince this complaint was filed, they have been trying to be very pleasant [redacted] and I have talked about the current tenant and when their lease runs outI have been told over the phone what the prices and sale potential of the property is but, I can not find any email traffic concerning sale prices or sale potential for the property.In closing, I feel that I have paid 50% of the total debtIt was deducted out of one of the months payment to meThe exact month that the money would come out of was not agreed upon by myself but they did take it out and send it to the HOAThat amount was $Folks Realty has offered $toward a $1400+ debt that was created by them not being diligent in their jobIt would be an awesome thing to see some integrity and ownership in a company that I used to fully trust?
