The staff is nice and polite but also very unprofessional. They never return follow up on x-rays/MRIs as promised. When ask for your Dr to return a call they don't. I'm still experiencing bad pain in feet & knees and was advised when I called about my appointment today, was advised my file was closed and they hung up in my face. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!!!!!
Desired Settlement ID: Billing Adjustment Injury wasn't resolved nor received proper call for services then closed my file without any notice. I called about my appointment today 2/27/20 @1:30pm. Was set 1/27/20 last month chart#XXXXXXXX
It is very unfortunate that this patient feels this way. And we are very disappointed about that. The patient did not inform our clinic of any of these concerns. In regards to giving MRI results and the doctor not returning calls; we do not go over MRI results over the phone. This is always in person. The patient was informed that she needed to come in for the doctor to discuss the results. This is clinic policy.
We did everything within our power to take carry of the patient. Out of 47 visits on our schedule, the patient missed or rescheduled 21. This could be why the patient didn't get MRI results in a timely matter.
In regards to the file being closed; we were under the impression that the patient was finished with treatment. That is why it was closed. However, we would have been more than willing for the patient to return. I've spoken to the employee that was accused of hanging up on the patient. I was told by my employee that they absolutely did not hang up on them. I agree with my employee.
In summary, we have offered several forms of treatment to this patient. The patient was not very compliant. We are very disappointed that the patient feels this way about their treatment at our facility. We felt like she understood our policy on MRI results and doctor calls. It appears we were incorrect. Maybe we should have been more thorough in our policy to her.
