Review: We stayed at Travelodge [redacted] on 8/24/2013. Continued noise at 10:30pm at night, mouse dropping in dresser drawer and unsatisfactory cust. srvc.I am reporting this to Revdex.com to express my dismay with the Travelodge located in [redacted], VA. My husband and I have stayed at this location on several occasions in the past years and this by far has been the worse experience. On Saturday, August 24th at approximately 10:24pm, I was awoken to very loud thumps and running above us. We were aware that there was a party in the banquet as we saw a huge amount of people in the parking lot. I contacted the front desk and after ten rings the person picked up. They said they would "call upstairs." Well ten minutes later, the noise got worse and I got dressed and went to the front desk. Upon my arrival, the front desk clerk was sitting, looking at his laptop and laughing. I guess the movie was pretty funny. I went inside and he immediately got up to attention and advised me that the party was ending shortly. I very aggressively told him that it is imperative that we sleep and we would not pay for this night should the noise continue.When I arrived back at the hotel room, my husband informed me that it wasn't the party-goers that were causing the noise but the Travelodge staff that was stacking chairs and dragging tables. I was extremely disappointed that their staff would for thirty minutes set up a room from 10:30pm to 11pm at night with no regard for the people that are sleeping just below. I am certain they knew that there was a renter in room 242 just below the banquet room and did not bother to take into any consideration that we were already in bed sleeping and wanted a quiet night's sleep. I suppose the urgency to reset the banquet room could not wait till mid morning the next day when most people would be awake.In addition to that, we were shocked to discover that there were mouse droppings in the second drawer of the dresser where I will assume they were expecting renters to leave their belongings. We have plenty of pictures.This Travelodge failed to say one word to us during our checkout. Not one apology, no offer to get our receipt, not even a safe travel or thank you for staying with us - NOTHING. Despite the issues with personnel, its a health hazard for this establishment to fail at identifying mouse droppings in their own furniture! They clearly do not check nor clean their rooms and I can imagine what else was contacted staying here.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
I would appreciate a refund for the night's stay which I believe came out to $55 plus tax.

We are in receipt of the above mentioned complain from the guest and this matter was already settled with the guest by refunding them full amount of that night stay. We are enclosing herewith the copy of folio for refund. We also sent an apologized email to the customer stating all the facts.
Anyhow the case was already resolved on 08/28/2013 and refund was issued for $ 61.94 on guests [redacted] ending with [redacted].
