On Friday, June 13, 2014, I dropped off EIGHT (8) items of clothing at Best Price Cleaners, 3611 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC XXXXX. The items of clothing, three (3) jackets, two (2) blouses and three (3) pairs of dress slacks were left for cleaning. Each piece was individually removed from a bag and inspected while lying on the counter and before they were bagged for cleaning.I returned on Monday, June 16, 2014, I returned to pick up my clothing. Two items were hanging and not in plastic coverings. I inspected further and noticed that the black neck trim was faded and the blouse (light pink) was faded with black stains. I inquired and was informed that the cleaning people stated that the item 'was not cleaned'. I informed the clerk that they were not left that way, and if they would have been, we both would have known prior to my dropping them off. The cleaners requires payment for cleaning prior to performing the work. I had to demand my money back prior to leaving. I took photos of the blouse prior to leaving, inside the cleaners.Needless to say, I was informed by the clerk that only the owner could refund the cost of my blouse. I asked his name and was informed, [redacted] I left my number for him to call me. I waited until Friday, June 20, 2014. I called just after 3:20 pm and informed [redacted] that I was on my way to Best Price Cleaners, 3611 Spring Forest Road. I introduced myself, placed the blouse (still on the hanger) on the rack and informed [redacted] of the issue. He said, 'I asked the person cleaning and she said it was never cleaned'. I informed him that I did not bring the blouse there in the condition that it left. He responded, 'we are an honest business and became irate'. I informed him that I would not stop until I received satisfaction. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I again took photos of the blouse and left Best Price Cleaners.Product_Or_Service: Rose Blouse with Black Neck trimDesired SettlementI would like Best Price Cleaners, i.e. [redacted] to reimburse the cost of my blouse, $39.99 + taxes. I attempted to have the blouse, that was purchased at [redacted], cleaned for the very first time. There was NO evidence of wear and tear with the exception of the damage incurred at Best Price Cleaners. Needless to say, I do not desire any 'credits' for future cleaning at this establishment, but cash in lieu of damages. I will never use the establishment again!Business Response As a standard practice we do not clean garments with contrast colors or trims without the permission of the client. In this case, both garments were not processed at all and were kept separate from the clean garments. Just to be sure I had talked to the people who process and was informed that her two items were never cleaned. I did not have those items with me so when she brought the blouse back, I had the opportunity to look at it. it was very clear that the garment was not processed at all because the tag used to mark the garment was without any wrinkles, smell or color change. Then I smelled the garment and her body smell was still present and the wrinkles from the normal wear were still there. So it was very clear that we had not processed the garment at all. And we do not process such garments without customer's permission.I tried to explain her and asked her to smell the garment, she refused and kept arguing. I have not been rude but just trying to make my point. We will take the responsibility if we make a mistake. Dark colors can bleed on the light color because of sweat or washing at home. So we require customer's permission to work on it otherwise we return the garment back to the customer without processing and refund the cleaning charges. Which was refunded in this case as well.

I went to pick up my four ABUs ( Airman Battle Uniform) around 2:26 pm on 03/26/2015. I took the plastic off from around the ABUs and inspected them. They had 3 crooked pressed lines running down the back and one pressed line running down the front. I immediately brought this to [redacted] ( cashier at front) attention. I advised that when I submitted my clothes 2 days ago I told her I only wanted the sleeves to have the pressed creased going down the arm. I said ABUs are not supposed to have all these extra creases that were put on. The pressed crease I requested was also not running down the middle of the star as requested but off to the side and some of arms were not even creased. [redacted] apologized and stated it was her fault that she misunderstood and stated could pick it up tomorrow for a redo. I advised I cannot come into tomorrow and I want my money back just the ABU blouses. She began speaking in Spanish to another woman( which later I would find out is that her name is [redacted] & she's the manager). [redacted] said she would redo the uniforms right now. At first I was delighted that she & another woman were going top go ahead and correct it immediately but after they finished spraying a lot water starch and steam, the uniforms still were not right. As I was inspecting the redo, [redacted] walked off to the back. The crooked lines in the back were still visible and so were the lines in the front of the ABUs.The sleeves still were not correct with some of them still wet.I advised [redacted] it still was not right and I want my money back. [redacted] then said that [redacted] is busy and she can't come to the front. I said this issue has not been resolved and I want my money. [redacted] keep stating [redacted] is busy. [redacted] finally comes back to the front. I thanked her for attempting to fix it but I said I would like my money back because I am going to have to rewash and re-iron these the right way myself. In summary, she gave me a dollar back (The shirts in total cost $8.00 plus $2.00 extra dollar the arm crease I requested) . [redacted] refused to give me the other $9.00 back and stated that who is going to pay for all the work that was done and if I went somewhere else that I would be charged more money. [redacted] gave the clear impression that the customer should have to pay even if the job done is wrong! So I replied, the ABU blouses are still incorrect and I stated I gave you a chance to correct it. But now I want my money back because it's still wrong and I don't have time for a third try. She just shrugged her shoulders. I asked for the manager. She stated that she's the manager and that above her is the owner. She stated that I could come back tomorrow if I wanted to speak to him and refused to give me his phone number. I called back later that day around 4 pm and asked for the owner. I was hung up on the first call. I called back & [redacted] took my information and stated the owner ( named [redacted] I believe) would call me back tomorrow. As of March 30th, 2015, I still have not received a phone call from the owner. Note: I had to ask for everyone's name, none were provided. In retrospect, just because a price is " low" does not mean the service should be substandard. If a company can't provide correct service at this "so called low" price they offer, the company needs to make adjustments so that the service itself is not subpar. Employees should not then make statements that lower prices justify mistakes. In closing, I want my $9.00 back for an incorrect and poor press/dry cleaning job rendered on my uniform tops.Product_Or_Service: Dry/cleaning, pressDesired SettlementIn closing, I want my $9.00 back for an incorrect and poor press/dry cleaning job rendered on my uniform tops.

Dropped of clothes and when returned to pick them up a white blazer that was cleaned was a dingy white color.Dropped off clothes to be cleaned on 8/4/2015. When returned to pick up the next day my white blazer was a dingy white color. I left the blazer and contacted the manager the next morning. She said she would re-clean it. This happened 3 times where she cleaned it and each time I returned for the blazer it wasn't restored to its original color from when I initially dropped it off. I was then told the blazer was sent to the home office and given the phone number. When I called I was told it was just another location not the home office. I have been told the owner will contact me and I have not received a call from anyone. I have no blazer and I paid upfront to have it cleaned. I have called this business several times and got nowhere. /////Desired SettlementI would like the value of the blazer plus what I paid to have it cleaned if it cannot be restored to the winter white color./////

This business lost my formal dress that I wore to my son's wedding, and offered no solution to rectify the situation. No apology or reimb. was offeredI bought my formal dress that I wore to my son's wedding on 6/29/16 to be cleaned, along with a comforter. I returned on 7/9/16 to pick up the items. They were unable to locate my dress!! The mgr who stated her name was [redacted] was laughing in my face about it, and said " I will have to wait and to give her time, approx. 1 week to locate it." I told her I would return in 1 week. I returned on 7/15/16 with a duplicate receipt that I received from [redacted]'s Bridal for $106.70. I was told by the clerk who refused to give me his name, but only offered his initials of [redacted]., that they still could not locate the dress, even after reviewing their cameras. He made copies of the receipt I gave him from [redacted]'s Bridal and the original receipt I was given by the cleaners for the dress to be cleaned. He suggested I call back that day around 3pm or to call back on 7/18/16 to speak with the owner, [redacted]. The owner never contacted me. I wrote my name & address & ph# on the back of the [redacted]'s Bridal receipt. I called the cleaners this morning (7/18/16) at XXX-XXX-XXXX around 11am, and there was NO ANSWER!! I told the mgr [redacted] and the clerk [redacted]., that I wanted FULL REIMBURSEMENT for my dress that they lost. Total of the dress including the tax was $106.70. Best Cleaners showed lack of professionalism and concern after they lost my dress. The acted as if they could care less.I would like to have this rectified as soon as possible.Desired SettlementI am requesting COMPLETE REIMBURSEMENT of my dress that I wore ONE time only to my son's wedding in the amount of $106.70 AND a apology which was NEVER offered by Best Price Cleaners.
