Hired Shrum manufactured to move a mobile home for me Communication was great until I gave him half the money up front After that communication was nearly impossible I told him to let me know what day and time they would start but the next thing I heard was the crew had been there so I went to look and they had cut every pipe off with a saw, broke the door to get in the home and every drawer and cabinet was standing wide open He later admitted that the crew had to break in which I have text msgs to prove Until that I thought it could've been someone from the park it was in so I didn't say anything Destroyed the porches by cutting them wherever they could When they finally got on the road with the mobile home I had to go meet them because they didn't know where they were going and basically be an escort vehicle for them Then they got the mobile home stuck in the yard just off the road and left it there I would wait for them all day but they would show up about three hours before one of the crew had to leave for his other job I had to rent a backhoe and move the home into position myself Then they come down and set up the mobile home and the block piers are scary looking they are leaning so bad I counted windows that are broken now Nearly all the shingles were ripped off the roof from them driving too fast up the freeway It rained a day after it was set and ruined the interior I could go on and on about all the wrongs with the job They caused thousands of dollars in damages to the mobile home I hope anyone thinking about hiring Shrum manufactured reads this first The owner would not take any responsibility for the damages And suddenly there was that great communication again when he wanted the rest of the money for the jobPlease take my advice and save yourself a horrible experience Look at his court records he has been in court about times for this sort of thing He sued me for the rest of the job and won because I didn't know what to bring to court as I've never been before so I paid it and went on but I hired him because I needed a deal as I don't have a lot of money and he ended up costing me somewhere around $extra in damages all said and done Save some money and hire professional movers to get your job done even if there's a wait because you will just wait longer for the job to get done and have a junk home when you get it if you hire Shrum Manufactured
