I sent in this complaint a few days before we went up to Shults ford for about the fifth time to give them one last chance to set everything right. We met Ryan who was new to the dealership and settled everything for us in less than five days. He settled something in days that we had been trying to get the dealership to handle for months. I am very pleased with his service but the rest of the people I dealt with at the dealership did nothing at all. I met with [redacted] and her husband John on Saturday, November 12.  Since I am new to the position, this was the first time I heard of this in this detail. After hearing about their displeasure, I explained to them the process of getting this corrected.  I spoke with them every day for...

Review: I bought a car from Shults ford on March 31, 2016. It was a 2013 nissan altima. I brought the car back to shults ford for a few different things with in the first 10 days. The one complaint I had was that the hood was shaking. Shutls Ford service department told me that it was probably a motor mount and sent it to Nissan. Nissan said that there was front end damage to the car from a previous accident and it would need to be repaired by a body shop. I talked to the used car manager, Dan, at Shults ford and was told that I had to bring the car back to have it looked at by their body shop. Their body shop stated there was front and rear end damage to the car. The carfax came back clean on the car, but the damage is clearly visible by an mechanic or body shop worker. Dan at shults ford stated he would take my car back and give me something comparable for the same price. When I went to do that he did not give me a comparable car and stated that I would have to pay more money for the car. General manager Robert D[redacted] stated he would not to anything more for me and I could take them to court. He also refuses to fix the damage to this car. This car is still under warranty from shuts ford and the repairs should be made. Shutls ford has made it so difficult to resolve this issue!! They knowingly committed sales fraud and will not rectify this situation!Desired Settlement: I would like to get another car that is comparable to mine like I was promised. I was promised a car in the same year with all the same options with no increase in price. Or, I would like this car to be fixed at a body shop with money back on the 2013 nissan altima.

Review: On January 4,2014 my husband [redacted] and I went to Shults ford to inquire in purchasing a vehicle. We met with the internet sales rep and went over our online credit application. We specifically told her NOT to run our credit more than once since we knew ahead of time that our scores were not perfect. Mine at the time was a 699 and his was a 609. Knowing the risk of losing points from multiple inquiries we had to stress if our scores weren't high enough tell us up front so we could walk away. Well that didnt happen. As of today we have received denial letters from at least 8 banks, which in turn has damaged our credit even further.Desired Settlement: We want All inquires from the numerous banks they tried to get a loan through removed from our credit reports ASAP!

Review: I went to Shults Ford to look and possibly buy a car today. We agreed on a certain payment at a 48 month term. The salesman said the loan was approved and then went about calling my insurance company to change the insurance to the car I was going to buy from my trade in. I went to the finance office and started signing the papers to buy the car. When I got to the actual loan document it was the agreed monthly dollar amount, but it said a 60 month term. When I questioned this I was told they couldn't get the interest rate they thought they could and the term would be 60 months. I was never informed of this. Had I signed the paper I would have been stuck in a 60 month loan when we agreed on a 48 month loan. The fact that Shults Ford did not disclose this to me prior to my changing insurance and signing papers is nothing short of them trying to steal thousands on dollars from me. When we made the 48 month term deal I told the salesman I would not go for anything more than we agreed on or I would leave. They chose to try and deceive me rather than lose the sale which they lost anyway. I have bought many cars from Shults Ford in the past, but there will be no more. Their deception has cost them a 15 year plus customer.Desired Settlement: Don't deceive long time customers

Review: Purchased a 2014 Escape the paperwork was not done right ford credit had to send corrected amounts. We were assured the extra warranties were thru ford they are not, and are useless. The car is having MANY issues with how it runs and I have made numerous calls to this business the last being over a month ago with no return call. It was taken to our local ford first and they informed us there is no ford warranty on it. The guy who did our paperwork was new at the time and apparently needed more guidance than he had. The car is lunging and excelerating on its own as you apply brakes. I started calling this dealer May of this year they do not return calls and are very condicending towards you.Desired Settlement: They need to be accountable. The warranty is not what we were told and the car has severe issues. Someone is going to get hurt and I believe they know this by their lack of a response on three different calls. Change the warranty to what it was supposed to be a ford one and replace the car or fix this safety issue. It has accelerated from 40 to 55 while braking and they were told this. Yet no return call? Are they waiting for a lawsuit?
