I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]  My biggest problem at this point is the customer care and that you are trying to walk away from a situation that clearly I had no control over at any point until I hired the clearing agent.  The company you chose to ship the items, Prestige Shipping and whomever they shipped to to hold my items in storage were not selected by me. I reached out to your company several times without any response and the fact that you disregard my items and my experience is an unhealthy approach to business.  I had to call on my own to determine that the items had arrived because Gary did not know. I can show proof, which I have in an email to your company, where there were several different communications with different arrival dates and the miscommunication from your company and failure to send me needed documents until the start of August is what caused some of the additional fees.  Your statement says my items arrived on July 27, so why did a company selected by your company (not by me) charge me daily fees from July 20?  I did not select the shipping company and last time I checked your company name was Ship Overseas and not Perez or Prestige Shipping, two companies of which you work with who handled my items after I paid you fees to have my items shipped. I never hired or paid money to either of these companies for service.I am not saying that I am to be refunded all money, but the money I was charged for storage during the time of which you provided miscommunication and did not release to me the proper documents.  Also if there is a claims process I only asked to be provided with the information, which request also went unnoticed and whether or not the effort should be worth it should be left up to me and not your company to decide. Your communication through the Revdex.com is the most active communication I have had from your company in over 2 weeks.

This is my second response to this.I am sory that you experiencing this problem. Please give me your reference number and name so that I can investigate this matter ?

I apologize for referencing the wrong account. I have contacted the correct company which is Ship Overseas.  My total transaction was as I stated, and included fees that I paid to you and to your counterparts.  I paid you for a service which you then sub contracted to other companies, leaving the choice out of my hands.  I was sent the FedEx material in August, several weeks after my things were told to arrive. I never received a call nor was any message left from your company or either of the companies you worked with to ship my items.  When I spoke to [redacted], he informed me that I should not have been charged so much money for storage and that they should have contacted me. When I originally reached out to your company it was to determine the actual arrival date which you stated was July 27, 2015 and the company in Spain stated was July 20, 2015, which is where the difference in cost came into plan.I then tried to reach your company regarding a stolen handbag and the condition of my things upon receipt of which I received no response by email, phone or otherwise. The agent in Spain was improperly charged by the company you selected to work with which is my I'm reaching out to you, because I originated the purchase with you and I purchased insurance to cover my items through your company.________________________________________________________________________... have no counterparts. Te fees that you paid to the Customs Broker or agent in Spain have nothing to do with my company. They are totally independent . I realy have no knowledge of what you paid themWe never subcontracted. This is the shipping procedure worldwide. You have to get a agent or customs broker to clear your container and legalize your belongings in a foreign country. There is no other way. You got your own agent or customs broker. You were given the the information by [redacted] in my office on July 27 that the container was on an Express Release and had arrived. This meant that your Customs Broker had to go and collect your container which would have been released to them without a problem immediately. Why did he not do that ? Maybe he did and added on extra dollars for his pocket ?You had the information and was suppossed to have advised your Broker to pick up.As far as the Stolen Handbag is concerened unless you made a list of your contents it is difficult to prove that the handbag was missing. You are welcome to put claim in for your hand bag but there is a deductible of $500.00 per claim so it may not be worth the claim.I am sad that you feel cheated but we did all we could do to make this a success. The breakdown came with either you failing to notify your Customs Broker in time or his failure to act immediately.I will not be able to make you and payment as I never collected the money you are referencing and it was not my company .

Yes they refunded 100 on my credit card but that was on their end. We never agreed that would settled it. I spent an extra $700 in fees because they kept lying to me about the problem. So it's my fault for shipping with them so we need to split the bill 50/50. They gave a credit so 250 would be the balance. If not I will continue with my legal plans.

SirWe do not give conflicting instructions verbally. If we changed your situation for instructions it would have been changed in an email to you detailing the exact alteration. If you can show me that you received these changes, I could entertain your claim. However to say you were told verbally and acted accordingly does not make sense. Please advise. Thanks

[Your simple answer of we only work by email is a lie. I have called your company and received over 10 calls from your company. They were calling to discus changes to my shipment, why else would they call? My phone records prove that your company called me numerous times. Your company did not even know my vehicle left the port until I called them to let them know that the freight company called me and let me know. Then your company emailed me to confirm what I already told them. Then they did not email me the correct information for shipping. They still had the boat information from the past shipment on the invoice. They also sent me two different emails with different storage charges. This was the email I received on April 16th: "If you can get the documentation to [redacted] for customs clearance before this date I can advance the sail date. Keep in mind that storage fees are $10 a day . The last free day of storage will be 4/22". This was the email I received on May 20th: "I advised you that you were given 20 days of storage without any fees being charged. I was wrong, I apologize. The port only allows 10 days of storage without any storage fees". I was called and emailed by different people who did not even have the correct information. If you can prove (just saying Im wrong is not proof) that any thing I have said is incorrect then please do so. Im reading through my old messages and notes and this is who Ive spoke to; [redacted] and [redacted] are 3 people I spoke to on the phone at different times. Some phone calls I did not keep track of because I was in my car driving at the time./ [redacted] and The Shipoverseas Sales team have all emailed me. Your company has multiple people calling and emailing me about this shipment and they are not all tracking the same information. They did not know when my vehicle left the port and when it arrived. They were still emailing me about my shipment when I already had my vehicle.]

Sir,I regret the damage to your vehicle. The procedure is for you to go to USAA and lodge a claim. They in turn will claim against the Shipping Line Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Had you wasted money on more Insurance with our Insurers that would have become a secondary claim without any satisfaction to...

you. Please make your claim with USAA soon to avoid a time lapse and they are aware how to rectify the matter. Thanks [redacted]President.

These are the exact instructions sent to the customer . As you will see he NEVER followed the instructions. At no time was he ever asked to hand the Original Title to the trucker. He is paying storage to the loading terminal who charge for excess time that he vehicle occupied their terminal in...

excess of what was allowed. Why should we or the terminal pay for his mistakes ? Overnight mail the Certified Copy of the title + 3 copies of the Title (front and back) + The original letter of authorization + a copy of your military orders and 3 copies of the attached Dock Receipt to:[redacted]

I paid for a service that was provide by ship overseas that I paid for in a timely manner. If it was just the case of a mistake on their part then no problem, I would have  have delta with it and moved on. But that was not the case, I was a paying customer and I was lied to by several people in that organization about my truck. I was stranded 6 hours away from home and spent an additional six hundred waiting to receive  my truck. They knew I was stranded waiting on my vehichle to be released and no one would even return my email. I had  to have a worker from the receiving company send the CEO an email begging for his help to resolved  the situation. If they would have been honest with me about the problem and had an ounce of remorse and compassion to my situation then we would not be here. I need them to be accountable, so that the next soldier or person will not be lied to repeatedly and received half the service they paid for. I also contacted them to file a claim for a  missing parts of my vehichle but no one has return my email or phone call. If this is how they do business then I think people should know whom their are dealing gd with.

Dear Revdex.comWe corresponded with [redacted] and admitted that due to our payment to the shipping line being delayed in the mail, he was inconvenienced through no fault of his.He accepted our apology and we gave him a discount on his shipment, which he accepted. This case is closed.Thanks[redacted]...

[I've received two replies from the business asking about the reference number which is [redacted], and they asked about the name which is [redacted]]
Regards,
[redacted]

The customer corresponded with us directly and we sorted out the problem and gave him a $100.00 for his inconvenience. The reason for the problem was the delay in the US mail delivering our payment to the shipping line , who refused to re;ease the vehicle until the payment was received. This has now been sorted out , the customer received their discount and he has his vehicle.[redacted]

In response to your complaint, I advise as follows.Ship Overseas did not lose your title documents. This was indeed done by [redacted].  (PER [redacted] - PACKAGE STUCK IN CUSTOMS. CASE) ID: [redacted]. This was subsequently found and your vehicle was shipped. Unfortunately, this sometimes can...

happen and the only way to overcome such a situation is if you yourself had to physically go to US customs, stand in line and wait for them to inspect your vehicle and title of ownership. This is not convenient for most people and not possible in many cases.Your vehicle arrived the day before New Year in our loading terminal in New Jersey. It was sent as you ordered, in an open car carrier. It was picked up on time and unfortunately there was a lot of rain and snow at that time of the year and your car arrived in our terminal very dirty. Had you elected to have enclosed transport, which costs more money, your car would not have been dirty. Pictures were taken on arrival and have been submitted to you.Your car was not brand new as you claim. It is a 2015 model. There appears to be damage to the vehicle which because you are insured, the Insurance company will entertain your claim. The Insurance Certificate was forwarded to you to make the claim.I apologize for the customer service representative for his words in saying you had zero chance to be paid. It was not his decision . He clearly did not look at all the facts.Your vehicle sailed Feb 20. This was as quickly as we could ship it as you were in a shared container and shipping only occurs once the container is filled. At that time of the year, business is slower due to weather and it takes longer to fill the containers. We would have liked you to have received your vehicle earlier but it was not possible under your contract. We are not responsible for these type of delays which is beyond our control. Please make your claim through the correct channel and I am sure you will be satisfied.Once again, I apologize for the actions of the customer representative.

The details of this matter are as follows:Complaint Involves:Billing or Collection Issues Customer’s Statement of the Problem:I had a truck and personal items shipped internationally, using Ship Overseas. I contacted them regarding additional costs charged due to misinformation on the arrival...

date by which I was charged for storage at 35 euro, per day, for the first 7 days and subsequently 70 euro, per day, for the remaining days from July 20, 2015 - Aug 18, 2015. I also reached out to them regarding a brand new expensive hand bag that was stolen from the top of one of the shipped bins. I packed all of my bins personally and I watched the shippers wrap them in heavy plastic before placing them on a pallet. When I went to pick my things up, the plastic was missing, the bins were dusty, disheveled and some were broken. I tried contacting the company by text, email and phone to determine how to get a refund for the storage and place a claim for my handbag, since I had purchased the shipping insurance. I have not heard back after waiting approximately one week and following up.,Complaint Background:Product/Service: Overseas ShippingPurchase Date: 7/20/2015Problem Occurred: 8/3/2015Model:Account Number: [redacted]Order Number: [redacted]Talked to Company: 8/3/2015Talked to Company (2nd): 8/24/2015Talked to Company (3rd): 9/4/2015Name of Salesperson:  Purchase Price: $6648.66Disputed Amount: $2219.30 Desired Settlement:                      I would like to be refunded for the first 7 days at 35 euro per day, upon which I do not believe my items were arrived and an additional 7 days for which after July 27th when my things were to arrive, I was not contacted, but the company allowed time to accumulate. I would also like to be compensated for my stolen handbag. The total refund requested, is below and includes current exchange rates and depreciation for the handbag. $2219.30 ______________________________________________________________________... having being studying your complaint and am very confused at your comments.Your total Purchase Price was $3222.00 and not $6648.00 as you indicated . Your refence number is [redacted] and not [redacted] as you indicated. Are you confusing us with someone else ?I really am also confused at what you are saying. You were sent by Fedex your arrival notice and address for pick up in Spain. You signed receipt and the rest was up to you to contact the agent concerned. If you chose not to contact them before arrival to make arrangements, that was your decision and if you did not contact them after arrival that again is your decision. You incurred expenses as you cannot expect the Agent in Spain to hold a container which belongs to the shipping line in his premises at no charge. He gets charged per day for not returning the container to the port as the shipping line needs to use the container for other customers. Why you decided to let matters lay is your decision and I cannot be responsible for your inability to pick up your goods.Attempts to contact you were made by the agent in Spain. He has told us he made numerous attempts with out response . Also, I repeat we sent you by Fedex our arrival notice and contact agents details. Finally, it seems to me as if you are claiming for expenses incurred in Spain and those are not payments which we received. I doubt whether you will get any refund as the agent in Spain was charged by the shipping line for holding the container excessive time.SincerelyShip Overseas, Inc

I shipped a vehicle through Shipoverseas Inc. to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and they gave me an estimated delivery date that was June 8th 2015. It is June 11th and the vehicle has not arrived yet. When I contacted the agent in Saudi Arabia, they told me it was shipped to South Korea and they left it there for a month. Now, the estimated delivery date is July 6th 2015, so it will arrive a month late. Your reference [redacted]I have taken note of your complaint and have contacted the shipping line to find out if this was actually an error on their part  and when the vehicle will be arriving at destination.I really regret the delay as I know you have been inconvenienced. I expect an answer within 48 hours.I want to advise you that I have asked for compensation but will also point out to you that our booking confirmation indicates that we as the Freight Forwarders are not responsible for delays or change of arrival times for any reason whatsoever. As soon as I have a response I will advise you. Thanks[redacted]Ship Overseas, Inc Update as of 7/7/15---------- Forwarded message ----------From: [redacted]<[redacted]>Date: Tue, Jul 7, 2015 at 8:46 AMSubject: Re: You have a new message from your Revdex.com regarding complaint #[redacted]To: [email protected] is the response I received from my shipping line. I am reading your response and my only conclusion is that the truck company that picked up your vehicle and transported it for you, damaged your vehicle in transit. No photographs at the loading terminal have been falsified. You car was delivered dirty and probably with damage caused by the truck driver who probably added the words " Very Dirty "Because of the fact that you brought to my attention that there was a delay in delivering the vehicle to the loading terminal , the vehicle could have been damaged during that time and the trucker was trying to have the vehicle repaired but eventually decided to take a chance and deliver the vehicle as is.The other alternative is that the truck company delivered the car to the loading terminal in New Jersey and they damaged the vehicle. Either way, you should be covered under the Insurance that you had . It is unlikely that either the trucker or the loading terminal will admit to the damage . It is also possible that the vehicle was delivered dirty as there was very bad weather at that time. This is not the type of Business that Ship Overseas, Inc wishes to do. We move thousands of vehicles yearly, some directly on Vessels which we control the loading and sometimes through loading terminals that we work with, as was in your case.
