I received a notice from the company informing me that I was required to renew the fictitious name for my business and to mail in a check for $125, which I did in July of this year Subsequently I received an email from [redacted] informing me that I needed to renew the fictitious name for $ I called [redacted] and was informed that the company I sent my money to was a private entity and that they charged me $extra for something I could have done online through [redacted] They had not yet received payment from this company for the renewal My check to the company cleared my bank account on 8/11/ My complaint involves misrepresentation by this company The letter I was sent was made to look officialIt had all my information, including the registration number for my business There was no mention of the $fee They just wrote that renewal costs $ I am not sure whether they are just going to keep all my money or send the $to [redacted]

Just got a mailer from this company to fill out a form that has our Business info on it but had no on line presence so as to pay the required $ fee
Checked it out and found out this Company is being investigated by the State of Florida Please do not respond to any mailers from this company

This company sends a renewal form that very much looks like an official *** ** *** renewal, including fee, for renewing a business's fictitious name Unsuspecting businesses think this is an official state renewal and they pay this company $to renew their fictitious name, when it only costs $to renew directly with the state of *** They are clearly preying on unsuspecting businesses by trying to make their renewal form look official by quote *** statutes regarding the Fictitious Name Act
This company is a scamThey send you an official appearing form for fictitious name renewal costing $It is only $to renew a fictitious nameThey are breaking the lawThey are required by law to change the font, color and have in Bold letters that this letter is a solicitationThere is no such phrase on the letter that I receivedBeware of this company!!!
I have received various requests from this company to renew the domain name (***) and others that I own and I renew myself I have attempted to call and have my name and information removed from their database, but in vain
Again, this is my domain and they have no rights to it and if I request to not being solicited, they should remove me from their list
This is clearly a scam with no other purpose than to trick people into using their "service" if they are not carefulThe letter is sent with references to state statute and all information about your business prepopulated from publicly available sourcesThe actual form for the State of Florida is included as a second pageThe fee is listed as "$for renewal" with no indication that the actual state filing fee is $and the additional $amount is a payment to their company for their "service"While the document is technically accurate and, if you read very carefully, you can determine that this is a third party company, it is clearly meant to mislead and get people to send them an extra $for a service they can complete just as easily through the state directly
100% a scam, they send businesses a Mailer claiming you have to refile for your company's fictitious name immediately for $Sunbiz charges $for this service DO NOT GET FOOLED Report them immediately and leave more star reviews
