Review: I recently moved out of an apartment managed by Shuster Property in [redacted]. I requested a walk through of the apartment prior to departure with the superintendent, however I was not granted one. I was informed that the apartment would be inspected for damages and a list of fees would be sent to me prior to my deposit being deducted. I received a list of unapproved fees with a automatic deduction of my deposit. Included in the deposit was a charge for missing carbon monoxide monitors, which were present in the apartment but missed by the inspection. I informed management and confirmed with the superintendent that the monitors were present. I requested the fees to be returned. The response from property managemnt, [redacted] was that there was a fee for turnover of the apartment and I would be charged a fee regardless if the parts were intact.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the carbon monoxide monitors in the amount of 200 dollars.
