I called this Hurricane Shutter Services Screen Repair Company to be sure my shutters were in working order . The charge was $95 and they were to check everything since I was a new homeowner and these were existing Hurricane Shutters. I did this a month before hurricane Matthew in 2016. They came out and they did some silicone and whatever else and when I went to close them for the hurricane they would not close securely. The knobs did not fit into the holes and I was concerned that the winds and the hurricane would blow them open. I called the company a week and a half after the hurricane and they said that it was the responsibility of the homeowner to know how to shut them and there would be another charge. As a professional company they should have checked those prior and the charge should've included this. They said it was up to the homeowner to know how to do this. I feel this company did not for honor their responsibility to check everything and it should've been in working order. They were very rude on the phone and I would not use this company ever again and not recommended. I use the check and should have used a credit card. I want my money back. Do not use this company they are not professional
