Review: Our company (Remodeling Contractor) has used ShutterContractor.com for several shutter orders in the past and have not experienced any significant issues regarding delivery. However, the last 2 orders were significantly behind scheduled. The ShutterContractor.com website advertises free shipping + ships out in 1-3 business days. The order in question was placed on 6/20/14 - we had not received any updates on the order and on 6/26/14 (4 business days), we contacted customer service to inquire about the status of the order. [redacted] advised that the order was not shipping until a later date (possibly 6/30/14 or even later) as it was coming from Michigan and "like everybody right now," they are really busy. When I asked about the advertised delivery of 1-3 days, she ([redacted]) responded, it's 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 days and again, right now everybody is really busy. She further asked me "what can she do about it?" I explained the information on the website is misleading and she responded "well, I guess I'll have to get my web guy to change it."My issue is the fact we placed the order in advance (factoring) of needing them shutters to be installed - now our Production will be impacted and we'll lose time on other projects having to return to install shutters.Desired Settlement: I would like a concession of the "small order fee" and/or applicable discount for the misleading information contained on their website to compensate for the loss production we will experience as a result of the misleading information.

Between placing this complaint and responding to the complaint. I have beeen in discussion with [redacted] in Mr. [redacted]s's office, we have come to an agreement. ShutterContractor.com will supply at no charge I pair of 14 x 67" shutters. We concider this complaint closed and do hope to have a future relationship with the complainant.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The company representative ([redacted]) was very helpful and worked with [redacted] (Office Manager) to resolved this matter. I am pleased with the offer and willingness to make the situation right. [redacted] was much more forthcoming and willing to "serve our needs" than the lady that handled our call initially.
