No medical evaluation was offered to me at any time during my conversations with [redacted] or Dr. [redacted].  They did not even have the antidote in stock to remove the filler from my cheeks and no one was available to correct my lips with Juvederm which was in stock.. I was told repeatedly by [redacted] that the only other person who could possibly help me (someone by the name of [redacted]) was not available  because she couldn't find a babysitter!! When I asked when she might be able to come in - [redacted] said, "i don't know." 
 
Dr. [redacted] was not in nor was he expected in for over a week. [redacted] made no attempt during our phone conversation to ease my mind over the situation or offer to come into the office sooner to correct the problem, even though I provided pictures of how awful I looked. In fact, he seemed quite oblivious to my awful appearance, discomfort and anxiety.  I would not allow Dr. [redacted] to treat me again after this horrendous experience.  His reaction to my unfortunate ordeal was profoundly unprofessional and the situation was further exacerbated by his office manager, [redacted].  
 
The only way this could be resolved is for them to reimburse me the money that I will have to spend with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist/surgeon who is qualified to reverse/fix the damage that Dr. [redacted] created. It is completely irrelevant how many people they have treated - what is relevant is the fact that they did not, at any time, offer to correct the problems created by [redacted] in a timely, professional manner, and at their own expense. The reversal of this procedure and fixing my lips will cost 4x what I was refunded as they charge way, way below the going rate.

Responding with the words approved agrees that we will give you your $500 and Shy Medical will be relieved of any liabilities and obligations going forward with any treatment plans done at any other medical facility.

They already closed their business, alrhough they owe their customers by selling prepaid package.

Review: Dr. [redacted] injected juvederm filler into the cheek area above my nasal folds instead of into the nasal folds. I now have two lumps on either side of my face that will be there for a minimum of 6 - 8 months. He was also supposed to inject juvederm into my upper and lower lips (evenly)to give volume. He failed to inject it evenly and now my upper right lip is thinner and droops down. He is not a board certified doctor/cosmetic surgeon, but assured me he was very experienced in administering fillers. When I told Dr. [redacted] what happened to me and sent pictures - he said it was "no big deal" and said an employee by the name of [redacted] could fix the lip and inject an antidote into the lumps on my cheeks to reverse dissolve the Juvederm. However, after speaking to Office Mgr, [redacted], I was told [redacted] does not do this and no one else was available to help me. They reluctantly refunded my money of $293.55 but additional fees will be needed to correct what Dr. [redacted] created on my face.Desired Settlement: Most Medical Spas charge somewhere between $450 - $550 for Juvederm and about $200 - $300 for injections of Hyaluronidase, the antidote for HA fillers. So total settlement would be for $500
