It is unfortunate that Ms [redacted] is unclear about the actual sequence of events that were involved during her transactionWe are extremely transparent in our process and would not deny anybody a copy of their Carfax report, both as a matter of policy and because a Carfax report is available to anyone online with nothing but a vin#During the appraisal process a Carfax is pulled on every prospective tradeIt is but one step to establish the value of a customer's vehicle and a vehicle that has been involved in a collision is worth less than one that hasn't Her vehicle had been wrecked whether it shows on the Carfax or not and that is an important fact It is worth noting Ms [redacted] did not disclose to us that the vehicle had been wrecked until we pointed out the obvious signs of repairWhat was conveyed to Ms [redacted] was that the absence of an accident indicator on a Carfax at the time she trades the vehicle in does not preclude one from showing up later It is unclear what Ms [redacted] ' motivation in filing this complaint is but we consider this matter closed.Thank you,Mario N***General ManagerSiamak's Car Company [redacted]

This matter has been resolvedFinancing was obtained for this customer and he is currently driving his new carThere was a delay in communicating with him but it was because we were still working to obtain financing for his vehicleThank you,Mario N***

To whom it may concern, At the time Ms*** traded in her vehicle there was no accident reported to Carfax and we didn't tell her there wasMs*** told us, after we asked, that her vehicle had been wrecked and subsequently repairedThe question was
asked because it was obvious the vehicle had been paintedWhat we did tell her was that if the insurance company that paid for her repair reported it to Carfax it would definitely have an impact on the future value of her carWe have no way of knowing if an accident will or will not be reported to either Carfax or Autocheck which is the other major vehicle history report provider As an automobile retailer we pay very close attention to the condition of a customer's trade A vehicle that has been wrecked is definitely worth less than a vehicle that has notSeveral months later Ms*** tried to get reimbursement from the insurance company for "diminished value", and we assisted her in every way possible. Ms*** has been a good customer in the past and we would like to keep her as a customer, it is unfortunate she feels deceived but we don't believe we misled herThank you,Mario N***General ManagerSiamak's Car Company

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because Mario specifically told me that he based the price on the carfax and told me in words that there was an accident reported on the CarfaxWhen I asked for a copy of the CarFax he refused to show me!!!!Sincerely,*** ***

To whom it concern,When customers come to us shopping for an automobile it is necessary to pull a credit to quote an estimated interest rate based on your credit scoreWhen a customer tells us that we need to secure a better rate than the one quoted based on their credit scores at that time we send
their application to lenders who fit their credit profileThis particular customer came to our store and picked out a vehicle and engaged in the buying process, even going as far as borrowing the car for the afternoonWe did exactly what we informed the customer we were going to do, which was to try and obtain a loan on his behalf with the best interest rate we could secure for himUpon returning to our store, the customer informed us he was no longer interested in the vehicle or purchasing one at allSometime between the time he borrowed our car for the afternoon and his returning it he changed his mind, which we understand can happen There is nothing we can do to remove inquiries from his credit reportThank you,Mario N***Siamak's Car Company

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I want this matter of public record for everyone to see second of all attached is a copy of an email showing his refusal of a carfax report and stating the price that he originally offered meI was lied to and disrespectedNor was I offered gap insurance and a warrantyHad I known that the car was going be worth less than 6k than what I was quoted of 12k over the phoneIn addition, a paint job doesn't indicate a wreck happened I could of had a new paint job to cover up a scratchSincerely,*** ***
