This matter has been resolved. Financing was obtained for this customer and he is currently driving his new car. There was a delay in communicating with him but it was because we were still working to obtain financing for his vehicle. Thank you,Mario N[redacted]

I have reached out to Ms. [redacted] by phone unsuccessfully and will try to contact her by mail. We are willing to inspect her vehicle and make sure that the work was done properly and if we find that it wasn't make the necessary repairs for her if the original work was...

done improperly. In the event additional parts are required we are willing to provide them at our cost to the customer. Please bear in mind this is a 12 year old car with over 130,000 miles and it may need calipers regardless of what her second opinion provider stated. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I want this matter of public record for everyone to see second of all attached is a copy of an email showing his refusal of a carfax report and stating the price that he originally offered me. I was lied to and disrespected. Nor was  I offered gap insurance and a warranty. Had I known that the car was going be worth less than 6k than what I was quoted of 12k over the phone. In addition, a paint job doesn't indicate a wreck happened I could of had a new paint job to cover up a scratch. Sincerely,[redacted]

It is unfortunate that Ms. [redacted] is unclear about the actual sequence of events that were involved during her transaction. We are extremely transparent in our process and would not deny anybody a copy of their Carfax report, both as a matter of policy and because a Carfax report is available to anyone online with nothing but a vin#. During the appraisal process a Carfax is pulled on every prospective trade. It is but one step to establish the value of a customer's vehicle and a vehicle that has been involved in a collision is worth less than one that hasn't . Her vehicle had been wrecked whether it shows on the Carfax or not and that is an important fact.  It is worth noting Ms. [redacted] did not disclose to us that the vehicle had been wrecked until we pointed out the obvious signs of repair. What was conveyed to Ms. [redacted] was that the absence of an accident indicator on a Carfax at the time she trades the vehicle in does not preclude one from showing up later.  It is unclear what Ms. [redacted]' motivation in filing this complaint is but we consider this matter closed.Thank you,Mario N[redacted]General ManagerSiamak's Car Company[redacted]
