Review: My car was towed from [redacted]. at 11 P.M. by Siani's Towing. I contacted the police first around 2 A.M. because I thought my car was stolen. They had no knowledge of my car being towed. I then contacted Siani's Towing because I saw a worn out towing sign with a phone number on what looks like to be an abandoned building. Also on the street there were small worn painted letters that say NO PARKING that are hard to read. Also after you park over top of them you will never see the "NO PARKING". It was a relief to find out that they had my car and it was not stolen. It was towed to [redacted].

The driver did me a favor and picked me up and took me to my car. They charged me $150 for the tow and $40 for the use of dollies because I have an all wheel drive vehicle. I payed the $190 plus a $10 tip for the ride. I did a quick walk around the car to check for damages but the lot had no lights and was completely dark, probably how my car was damaged. Also the driver did not inform me of any damages to the vehicle. I drove straight home and parked the car in my yard around 3 A.M.

Later that day I needed to go to the store around 3 P.M. and did another quick walk around. As soon as I saw the rear bumper I cursed out loud. The damage to the bumper is on the right side corner. Also you can see where the tow driver sprayed oil on the bumper and used a rag to cover the damage. I called Siani's Towing to tell them what I saw and immediately the person on the phone got defensive. I also told them my car was in the body shop a few months ago and was certain there was no prior damage. He told me "that was not the first time he heard that one."

Siani's told me "there was no way for me to prove that they did the damage." I replied with "if I didn't do the damage then who did?" They replied with "file a police report and take us to court, it won't be the first time and it won't be the last time." Those were the last words of the phone call.Desired Settlement: If they check their pictures prior to my car being towed it should show no damage to my bumper. I would like a refund for the towing and payment for the damages to my bumper. I'm taking it to the same body shop that I used few months ago for the estimate. The city of Philadelphia should force the owner of the building and the towing company to display clearer no parking and tow away zone signs. They should be ashamed of themselves of this for this whole ordeal. I'm not even sure why they towed my car in the first place.

Review: My car was parked in an open space with no signage indicating no parking on Wed, July 30th. I returned to the car after 12 am and the car had been illegally towed. When I called to retrieve the car that had been taken without reason, the tow truck driver was rude, disrespectful, & argumentative. They refused to accept any payment other than cash and left me with no money and refused to give me a receipt. They also told me the next time they see my car, they are taking it and not giving it back.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $175 I had to pay to retrieve my car.

Review: ON APRIL 5, 2014 4 A.M. MY VEHICLE WAS ILLEGALLY AND WRONGFULLY TOWED FROM RESIDENTS STREET PARKING. MY CAR WAS PARKED ON [redacted] I LIVE ON [redacted] WHICH IS LOCATED ON [redacted]. TIOGA. AROUND 4 A.M. MY CAR WAS TOWED. WHERE I PARKED WAS NO!!! TOWING SIGN WHICH WOULD INCLUDE ME NOT BEING ABLE TO PARK THERE AT THE TIME OF PARKING. THE PARKING AUTHORITIES CAME OUT AND INSPECTED THE AREA PER INSPECTOR.. [redacted] AT ###-###-#### AND ALSO [redacted] WHO TOOK DOWN THE CLAIM AND PROCESS IT ###-###-#### IN FORMED ME THAT SIANI TOWING (LOCATED ON [redacted] ###-###-####) THEY ILLEGALLY AN WRONGFULLY TOWED MY VEHICLE PER...[redacted] THERE WAS A PRIVATE TOWING SIGN NOT WHERE I WAS PARKED BUT ON PRIVATE RESIDENTS GATE WHICH HE COULD NOT TAKE DOWN AND INFORMED TO CONTACT [redacted] WHICH I DID AND A POLICE REPORT WAS DONE AND ISSUES AND THE FOLLOWING OFFICER INFORMED ME THAT THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE TOOK MY CAR BECAUSE THERE IS NO TOWING SIGN IN THAT AREA WHAT SO EVER STATING IM NOT ALLOWED TO PARK THERE AND IF SO MY CAR WILL BE TOWED.Desired Settlement: REFUND OF $160 WHICH I PAID AND THEM FINED FOR ILLEGAL TOWING OF MY CAR

Review: [redacted] Siani's Towing towed my son's car on 10/05/2013, my Son paid with his bank card $162.18. When my son got home He realized his card was lost and contacted the bank to cancel the card. Thinking the tow payment had not gone through I mailed a check for $162,18 to Sianis's towing. We later found the payment went through from the bank and that Siani's also cashed my check. I have been in contact with [redacted] Siani (phone ###-###-####) and have faxed proof of the two payments, for almost 4 months. I have been lied to over and over that the check is in the mail, besides being talked to very rudely and angrily. We live 80 miles away and I work full time and I'm a single Mom and $160 is a lot of money for me. I did the right thing making sure Siani's was paid and they will not return my money. They have been paid twice for one towing and have proof with my son's card statement showing the payment and a copy of my check with their signature on the back. Please help me get my money back from these thieves.Desired Settlement: check for $162.18 sent to [redacted]
