[redacted] Revdex.com East " StreetSuite Cincinnati, Ohio 45202Re; [redacted] Dear [redacted] : [redacted] , an agent with Sibcy Cline showed [redacted] a house on [redacted] in [redacted] When [redacted] listed the house, the sellers advised her they would leave several appliances, including the microwaveNever did the sellers mention an issue with the microwave to ***.After the contract was executed by buyer and sellers, buyer had a home inspection performed, ***, nor anyone from Sibcy Cline, was present at the home inspection, but its purpose is for a licensed inspector to check the home for hidden defects.After the home closed, and the occupancy period was up, [redacted] obtained the keys from the sellerShe met [redacted] at the home to give her the keysThe front door key didnt work [redacted] and [redacted] were able to enter the house and [redacted] pushed the light button on the microwave to See the keys, she did also push the fan button while she was looking for the light buttonBoth the light and the fan appeared to be broken and neither would turn off[redacted] asked [redacted] to check with the sellers about the key and the microwave [redacted] called the sellers, who informed her they would not pay for anything else regarding the sale of this home, and that the keys they gave [redacted] were the only keys they had and they believed them to include the same key as was in the lockbox that worked for the front door, [redacted] relayed this information to [redacted] , who then told [redacted] she should pay for the microwave and to purchase a key, [redacted] reminded her that she paid for the reinspection of the house after the repairs were made on her behalf since neither her nor the sellers would agree to [redacted] did this as an option to facilitate the transaction since buyer and seller were at a standstill over the costs[redacted] called me, as office managerI explained to [redacted] that I would speak to [redacted] and get back to herI called to inform her that [redacted] spoke to the sellers and they will not agree to any repairs or any costs of repairs as they felt theyd given enoughI also explained that [redacted] never lived in the house, never used the microwave and obviously had no knowledge of whether or not it worked or was brokenI also informed [redacted] that it would always be a recommendation to replace house keys after transferring ownership as buyer has no idea who sellers have given keys to and how many are out there, [redacted] proceeded to call [redacted] , General Sales Manager at Sibcy Cline [redacted] called me to inquire about [redacted] s complaintI updated [redacted] as to exactly what was discussed and that the Sellers would not agree to any repairs.This is an unfortunate occurrence, but the purchase contract is between the seller and the buyerNeither the Realtor, nor the real estate company has any knowledge of whats broken or operating in a sellers homeWe rely on the information given to us and pass forward to buyers what we know andor have been told,We do not feel Sibcy Cline, their agent or employees, have done anything wrong, nor are they responsible for this repair,Sincerely, [redacted] Vice PresidentSales Manager
