Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/10/24) */
Sicora has completed the project for this clientOwnership recognizes that the original project manager for this project was not managing the project in accordance to standards at Sicora, so as a result was firedSicora ownership
provided the client with a good faith $10,discount to compensate for the poor project management and missed steps along the wayThe finished product is beautiful and a finish that they will enjoy for many years to come
Since this project is funded through a construction loan, the clients must approve the final draw request in order for Sicora to be compensated
Currently, the clients are refusing to sign off on this final draw request of $50,000, due to their dissatisfaction with the process and the product provided by SicoraIn their contract, they approved the work quality standards in which the final product would be judged against, which it passes with flying colorsSicora will not provide any additional discounts due to "emotional distress" as the client's suggestUnfortunately, Sicora has had to file a mechanic's lien against the client in order to preserve our opportunity to be compensatedIt is not surprising that they would file this complaint, as they were just served with the mechanic's lien earlier this week
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/10/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Once again Sicora fails to understand the magnitude of their ill managementWe did not receive the lien notice until October 21, AFTER filing the complaintSicora placed a lien on our home sating we have denied signing the last drawWe did not receive the paperwork to sign until 10/So how can we refuse to sign something we did not get? Im fairly certain this process is flawedSince our complaint, we had a lb mirror hung by Sicora fall downWe will not be bullied by a contractor who performs poor quality workIt has also come to our attention that Ron Sonnek, as owner of another company, had homeowners sue due to ill manage and poor quality
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/11/03) */
The Revdex.com has two different services that it offers to its members (mediation and arbitration)Both of these services have been offered to this client and have been declined
The client should have in their possession the final draw request for their project along with a letter from our attorney instructing on steps to finalize this projectIf they did not receive this by mail, they have been instructed to call my office manager to request a copyThey have until 11/7/to respond to Sicora with the signed draw request so that we can finalize the final payment of this project and properly service the warranty issues that have arisen
The mirror issue is one that is a "warranty" issue and will be addressed after the account is finalized
