Retro Fitness is still trying to charge me for a gym membership that I already cancelled on 3/22/2017. I made my final payment for the yearly contract on 2/24/17. They have now put me into collections and I am being harassed with telephone calls and letters. I have signed paperwork that my account was cancelled on 3/22/17 from Retro Fitness. My emails to Retro Fitness regarding this matter have gone unanswered.
I hand delivered a medical letter while my boyfriend had a rotator cuff injury it was said we would pay as little as a month for a medical leave given that we signed a contact but the gentlemen I handed the letter said he would work on not having us pay anything given we had this letter from the medical professional and the injury wasn't planned it was in evitable I hadn't heard or received any bills so I assume this matter was was resolved low and behold I then was looking at my credit report and it showed that I had owed $to retro fitness when I called retro a Howell and asked to speak with the general managerOn September it took about four attempts for me to call he finally called me back and left a voicemail stating he was returning my call this was that third the fourth call made when I called backOne of his employees had stated that she had no idea where he was he was nowhere to be found in the gym that was around about lunchtime on September still no return cal
According to my contract, a certified letter was to be sent in order to cancel my membershipThis was completed months agoSince then, I am still getting charged and have been ignorged by multiple staff membersOne staff member in particular left me a voicemail saying he would cancel my membership and reimburse meHowever that NEVER happened! I have also messaged back and forth with another individual since they always seem to be unavailable when I call, I stated a times that worked for me so that they could callShockingly they never didThe turnover rate here and customer service is despicable
