Siding Unlimited has no warranty on this project anymore for two reasons 1st, the project was completed and our year labor warranty has well expired 2nd, Siding Unlimited warranties do not transfer to a new homeowner However, Sunrise Windows warranties do transfer provided the new homeowner pays a $transfer fee which goes to Sunrise and not Siding Unlimited. The homeowner contacted Siding Unlimited because we are the original installers of the product Siding Unlimited agreed to assist in resolving the issue and the fee would be to cover our time We helped recover the ID numbers for the windows to be replaced and send those numbers to Sunrise These numbers are then used at Sunrise to locate the details of the window in their database The windows were ordered and when they came in, Siding Unlimited went to install them and found out the grid pattern and the sizes were incorrect We have no idea why this happened since the numbers off the original windows were used in the order process However, Sunrise Windows is at fault and NOT Siding Unlimited Siding Unlimited notified Sunrise Windows what the issue was and we went through the process again only to find out that Sunrise Windows made the mistakes again.Unfortunately during these processes, it takes time So when these mistakes occur, they are magnified because it takes so long for the product to be made and shipped However, none of the problems that have taken place are Siding Unlimited's issue We are trying to do the right thing, but we have no control how an order is received and produced at the manufacturer So both the Homeowner and Siding Unlimited is stuck when things don't go correctly from the manufacturer Trust me, this is a big time waster for us too but we live with it and hope it gets corrected.Siding Unlimited received an email from the homeowner explaining to the effect that Siding Unlimited doesn't know what they are doing and that the Homeowner isn't willing to pay for any services when they are completed As owner of Siding Unlimited, I called the homeowner and explained that the homeowner doesn't have to pay for any of Siding Unlimited's efforts I know that the solution isn't complete But I do know that it is at the fault of Sunrise Windows and NOT Siding Unlimited I then explained that I didn't appreciate the context of the homeowner's email referring that Siding Unlimited doesn't know what they are doing When in fact, we are doing exactly what we need to be doing and sticking by the homeowner and trying to get things right However, when a homeowner negatively calls out Siding Unlimited, I just explained that they don't have to go through Siding Unlimited on this issue They need to reach out to Sunrise Windows direct If a homeowner doesn't trust the company trying to help them, there is no sense in continuing that relationship This is the only way they will know that Siding Unlimited IS trying to do what is right and that the issues are coming from Sunrise Windows I have no problem revisiting the issue and trying to help, provided the homeowner understands Siding Unlimited is NOT at blame in this scenario We are just trying to assist.I do want to be very clear Sunrise Windows is an excellent window company They make a beautiful product and the company has been great to work with over the years Service issues do come up as they do with any company Sunrise generally does a great job, but in this instance they have made a few mistakes Likewise, the Homeowner has been extremely patient and polite through the process It was one e-mail that I felt was not right, but with that exception, he has been understanding I do understand his frustration and as I mentioned above, Siding Unlimited was right there with him We are driving to his house assuming the parts are correct and we have the same frustration when we see they are wrong sizes Moving forward, I will do whatever it takes to assist However, I just would like it to be known that Siding Unlimited's role is to fit pieces together If those pieces don't come correct, we don't have a chance Please understand that we are not to blame for the issues that have occurred

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I would like it stated for the record that I never said I wasn't willing to pay for services and labor once the work was completed It was explained to me that there was a flat fee just for coming to my home plus whatever the labor costs were I have no problem paying labor costs, I just didn't want to have to pay the fee for coming out to my house multiple time without the work being completed correctly And I still have no problem paying the labor costs I will reach out again to my contact at Siding Unlimited to this process going again

I would like to thank Mrs. T[redacted] for calling Siding Unlimited in the first place.  We are grateful to all people who call us for a free estimate.  Siding Unlimited did run an advertisement which included the offers that Mrs. C[redacted] described.  Siding Unlimited uses outside...

financing companies to handle these offers for us since we are not a company within the banking/financing industry.  Unfortunately, this particular offer, only qualifies if the person requesting the financing owns the property AND it is their primary residence.  We don't have on our commercial this kind of detail only because we run a 30 second T.V. advertisement and somethings are briefly described due to time constraints.  Siding Unlimited does offer financing through other companies with whom we partner and would be willing to introduce these options, however they do not offer the same 0,0,0 deal that we advertised on this particular commercial.  We also accept credit cards.  As for this particular instance, I would like to reach out and extend my sincerest apology to Mrs. C[redacted] for any misunderstanding that may have occurred.  Our salesman did come out, he was prepared for quoting, and he did go back and get the information that was needed when it was available to him.  It just turned out that the one company doesn't offer the financing to someone unless they own the property.  This might be an opportunity for Siding Unlimited to look into other options as well.  I did try to reach out to Mrs. C[redacted] via a phone call, but have not received a return call just yet.  I believe that she was busy when I called. We would still be willing to work with Mrs. C[redacted] on her church's project.  We can show her an 18 month, 0% Financing with minimal payments which is available for my company to offer.  This product is offered to someone who is responsible for a building such as Mrs. C[redacted]' situation but doesn't reside at this location or own the property. Hopefully, this helps answer any questions that may have come up during this process.  Thank you.

I apologize for any confusion and delayed response.  It is not customary for us to not respond to questions.  I will call today and make sure we mutually agree on a solution.  Thank you,[redacted]

Back in December of 2015, Siding Unlimited entered into a contract with us to side our home. The siding of the house was completed at the end of January. During the project, 2 windows were broken. The crew that handled the job did not notify us of these incidents. We had to report these to our salesperson at Siding Unlimited. It was promised that these would be fixed. After contacting them twice they picked up one of the windows, and promised to get the other window when the weather improved. The crew also left behind cardboard scraps when they removed the dumpster, which we had to pick up as they were blowing in the neighbors yards. The contract stated that in the Spring they would come through our yard with magnet to pick up nails that were scattered all over our yard. This has not been done. We have picked up dozens of nails as we have found them. The crew also did nothing to catch the lead paint chips and wood chips that fell into the yard and gardens. We have cleaned most of the gardens but some remain. We also have a gutter that was to be removed with the dumpster in Feb... After calling the crew they did remove all but 1 piece of gutter that is still laying next to the house.
It is now June and this has not been done.
We were very pleased with the way the siding turned out on our house. It appears to be a high quality siding job. We wish the same care that was put into the siding had been given to the clean up and removal of waste and repair of damages.

Hi, made an appointment with Ed from Siding Unlimited for 9am on Friday the 6th.
Ed never came. So I figured I made a mistake, Ed must have made it the 13th but he still never showed. I guess it's because I told him I just wanted an estimate an I wasn't ready to sign a contract. That's because I am 71 and didn't want to be taken advantage of. Sooo please don't do business with Ed, I'm sure the company is good but the salesman isn't a man of his word. So I will find another good co.
