our part if [redacted] had requested to have transitions, it was not priced on her order sheet so the insurance did not know that she wanted it. When she realized that she didn't have the transitions on her lenses, she came in to notify us. The charge would be $70.00, which is the amount the insurance would charge to have that done. It isn't something that we chose to bill the patient. It is stated on her insurance sheet, which I have enclosed. The ones marked with the * are the items she was responsible for paying, which comes to the $249.00 that she paid. The one circled is the one we can send back to the [redacted] lab if she would like to pay for it.I left her a message on May 8th at 2:45 p.m., and asked her to call me. We would be happy to order the transitions, after payment. I did not receive a return call as of yet.If you have any additional questions, please call me at [redacted], ext. **.[redacted], Practice Manager

Review: I purchased eye glasses from Siegel for the second time because I was satisfied with the way I was treated back in 2012. Now in 2015, I was not happy because I ordered glasses and I specifically asked for the transition glasses which was pretty much everything the eye doctor suggested I get for my glasses They let me know my glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 days. Never saying business days but I had to call them on the 11th day. I'm not sure when they were going to call me. I picked my glasses up on a Thursday during my lunch break but I couldn't tell that they were not transitions at that time. I didn't notice it until the next day that they weren't transitions. I took the glasses back on the following Monday and they pulled my record and said I never ordered transitions. Well, the person who waited on me asked me if we were talking a lot as if to say maybe I was misunderstood that I wanted transitions. That was the main thing I asked for and it was specifically asked because I told her I needed sun glasses. Finally, I was sent on my way because I was told I would need to pay $70 for them to correct their mistake. I wasn't happy with the idea that it was their error.Desired Settlement: I paid $249 for my glasses which to me was too much but I paid it. But I'm not sure I received what I paid for so I certainly didn't want to pay another $70 for transitions I thought I already paid for.
