Complaint: 10360572I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is incorrect in her complete statement, what she stated is not what happened, how it happened and what the apartment maintenance and management did I will drop this and maybe if something happens to another tenant then management will be more responsive.Sincerely, [redacted]

??Complainant states her neighbor emailed manager, [redacted], for assistance with the water leak. No emails were received by the manager in regards to this incident. Management was made aware of the leak through an emergency message left by [redacted] at 1:45 am. Maintenance was notified...

immediately and responded within 10 minutes.Complainant states no-one came to follow up in regards to the water leak over the weekend. On Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 am, maintenance personnel attempted to enter [redacted]'s apartment for follow-up but was unable to obtain access to the apartment. Maintenance attempted entry a second time at 11:30 am and again, was unable to gain access to the apartment. At both times there was no response to knocking at door and the night lock was locked.On Monday, December 8, 2014, [redacted] was advised to leave HVAC fan running and ceiling fans running to dry out the carpet. Upon multiple inspections throughout the day, management noted that all fans had been repeatedly turned off and the heater left on. Failing to follow instructions only prolonged the drying process. Due to uncooperativeness, management was left with no choice but to hire a professional company to clean, deodorize, and shampoo the carpet. This was completed on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 by Fantastic Floors.Complainant states that there was no concern for her fall. Nothing was reported to management regarding a fall until days later. When management was informed of the incident, Mrs. [redacted] was asked if she needed to seek medical attention and she stated she felt like she would be fine and did not need medical care.Monday, December 29, 2014, Mrs. [redacted] reported that her toilet had a small leak. Maintenance tightened bolts on the toilet tank. The unit is no longer leaking.In regards to a resolution, the carpet has already been shampooed and treated. We will not be issuing a rent credit per the lease agreement. As written in paragraph 24 "We are not liable to any resident, guest, or occupant for personal damage, loss of personal property, or business or personal income from any cause, including, but not limited to fire, smoke, rain, flood, water leaks, hail, ice, snow, lightening, wind, explosions, interruption of utilities, pipe leaks, theft, negligent or intentional acts of residents, occupants or guests, or vandalism unless otherwise required by law." [redacted]General ManagerSienna Apartment Homes
