Review: Went in to smog my truck only to have it on for 1/4th of the test due to a tail pipe leak. Tech came in said couldn't test due to leak and handed [redacted] the paper work and Walked Away. Ok no prob, lets get it fixed. This is a smog and repair shop as advertised. No offer to fix, told me it needs to welded. No problem, I have a welder and can do it and bring it rite back. (I am a 20yr vet commercial mechanic)[redacted] asked if I was bring it back today, I said yes. Charged me $51.75. I addition will charge full amount when I bring it back.?????So it was on the machine for 10min, only got through 1/4 of testing and you are going to charge me full price? I asked why the hell would I bring it back to you!([redacted]) "I don't know" I then asked "So everytime it would go on smog machine, you would charge full price?" ([redacted])"yes, if it has to be re-tested." I live in a beautiful small town of Loomis and own a local farm as well as a small jerky business. I prefer to use local businesses to keep work going in our small town. It's the rite thing to do. Never would I have imagined that I would get ripped off here.Desired Settlement: Offer to fix so it can be smogged and cleared. They are a "smog and smog repair"shop. I don't mind paying for proper repairs. Don't Charge someone multiple times for the same thing. Every smog/smog repair in Sacramento area as well as aired commercials don't re-charge if you have it re-test or repaired at their location. It's called repeat business.
