This company advertises computer components but when you try to order they inform you in a web window that they will only accept orders for over 100 units of hard drives, printers, and monitors. In addition, after you add the items to your cart they inform you that they will only accept wire transfers for orders over $2,500. This is highly suspicious and in my opinion looks like a scam. Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Seriously BEWARE. I made a large purchase ($20,000) worth of units from George @ Sierra Component (they also go by Tri-Valley Recylers). I made it very clear what I was purchasing, there was a picture on their website,and I instructed on the Purchase Order what I intended to buy. Not only did the order take over 2 weeks to receive, the entire order was the wrong units. When asked about returning them or exchanging them, I was told I needed to pay restocking fee to send them back, even though it was there mistake, and HE KNEW it was there mistake..... Are you kidding me?!?!? No apology, no remorse, absolutely terrible customer service. I am still in disbelief. The only offer he had was to give me a discount on a new order. Yeah that is exactly what I want to do, send you more money and gamble you get it right this time, especially after the way you treated me on the last order after realizing your mistake. This company is an absolute joke. They honestly dont care about their customers. I very HIGHLY suggest you stay away from this company. ","neg-3

I had the exact same thing happen to me as [redacted]. This company is ripping people off. Ordered a product then got the notice that I needed to order 20 or more. I cancelled the order. They sent me an e-mail that my credit card was refunded. It was not. From what I can see, these guys have mastered a money-making scam.","neg-1

Order was cancelled by company and refund was not issued until I raised hell with the company. They now SAY a refund will be issued.I ordered a laptop online and did not apparently meet the min. order quantity which was not listed clearly on website. The order went through and I received an order confirmation. My credit card was charged. I called the company when I received no further communication and was told they had cancelled my order and I would not be charged. Several weeks later, the charge was still on my credit card and no refund had been issued. I contacted the company, was treated incredibly rudely including being hung up on when I accused them of stealing,and only after arguing with the staff for about a half hour and being told how stupid I was for placing the order of only one item, was I promised a refund. The refund should have been automatically generated when the company cancelled my order (without notifying me) but it was not. I wonder how many consumers don't catch the fraudulent charges? It must be very profitable for this business.Desired SettlementRefund for order cancelled by the company

BEWARE...Do NOT do business this this company.If not for the minimum purchase requirements, then for the EXTREMELY unprofessional attitude. As I sit here and type this review, I'm on hold with my credit card company to try and recapture the funds Sierra Component charged on my card when they told me they will not ship my order because I did not order 20 units. Willing to accept the terms of a 20 unit minimum, I wasn't willing to risk hoping $496.52 was going to be credited to my credit card WITHIN 30 DAYS. REALLY?! I'm to wait 30 days for the possibility of getting my money back on an order they shouldn't have accepted anyway. Whoever the guy was I spoke to was nasty and blamed me for placing the order. When I asked him why Sierra Component charged my card when they weren't going to ship my order, he said, "YOU charged your card, not me." Not understanding why he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that I placed the order, but he accepted it when he knew he wasn't going to fill it was mind boggling to me. Furthermore, I can't understand why the company's website doesn't reject the order if the minimum purchase requirement isn't met. A very amateur e-commerce practice.
In my opinion, this company is a HUGE risk to the consumer. They're willing to take your money, but not be professional enough to do what's right. Surely a wolf in sheep's clothing.","neg-2
