I am rejecting this response because: I do wish to respectfully dispute Mr*** ***’s response to my complaint #***First, I would like to start off by saying that Mr***, owner of Sierra Glass, was not there when any of this happenedHe did not witness what his employee quoted me and to everyone’s disservice, the quote was not in writingSo we can go back and forth with what was actually said but in the end, I have screen doors and cut glass that is unusablePictures of the inferior work done by Sierra Glass were sent along to The Revdex.com when my complaint was filedPictures do not lie.Second, the employee knew the window screens were (THIRTY) years oldThirty years of sun, ice, snow and cold compromised the integrity of the splinesWhen I got home the screens were already falling out of the frame because of the reuse of year old splinesIn this case, a reputable business would have replaced the splines. Third, When I brought the unusable window screens back, my demeanor changed when the “employee”, not Mr***, informed me that “Yes, I think I did say $per window screen but that was wrong!” Right or wrong, that is what I was quoted.Fourth, once again Mr*** was not there when his employee quoted me the cost of rescreening the screen doorsAgain, the screen doors are (THIRTY) years old and were also in need of new wheelsI left Sierra Glass with the understanding that the year old rollers would be replaced.Fifth, I did not “return with a bad attitude”. When I returned to pick up the screen doors, I saw that the screen doors are unusableThey were taken apart and were not reassembled with degree angles at each cornerThe angles are off with large gapsThat is when my demeanor changedI will repeat; pictures of the inferior workmanship were sent along with my original complaint; pictures do not lie.Six, Mr. *** claims “I saw the glass myself and all fourteen pieces were cut to the pattern we were given.” If that statement is true, then I respectfully suggest that Mr*** get glassesOnce again, pictures were sent to the RevDex.com and pictures do not lieThe pictures clearly showed my sample piece placed on top of their cut piece and it doesn’t matchI then placed a cut piece on another one of their cut pieces and they don’t match!Seven, for Mr*** to say that I “received $worth of merchandise for free” is also not trueI have the merchandise and most of it cannot be used, because of the inferior quality of workmanshipTherefore, a complaint was filed with Wells Fargo Payment Center and payment was cancelledWe were advised by Wells Fargo to keep the inferior merchandise until further notice.Eight, after returning the window screens to have new splines put on them, I am able to use them, and so there is some payment due for the window screensIn my opinion, I should only have to pay what I was quoted, $per screen; there are of them.In conclusion, I feel that a written quote would have been very beneficial for both partiesA written quote would have avoided any misunderstanding on either sidePerhaps this is a practice that Sierra Glass should adopt

In response to Complaint # [redacted]Item # 1 the window screens , Customer asked for a ballpark quote and was told between 10 & 15 dollars each , to replace screen material . If the spline is not worn it is common practice to use the existing spline .when customer returned with really bad...

attitude ( screaming @ myself & employees ) I should have returned the product , Instead we replaced the spline . Window screen are still with customer & payment has been canceled.Item # 2 Door rescreens , Customer was quoted $ 30 per door this did not include the replacement of the rollers . Once again customer was rude to my employees &  I repeat the quote did not include the rollers & was added at customers request . Doors are with customer & payment was canceled .Item # 3 Glass to pattern - I saw the glass myself & all fourteen pieces were cut to the pattern we were given . I was never told otherwise and never given a chance to rectify problem . Glass is also in customers possession & payment has been canceled .So in conclusion customer received $ 254.18 worth of merchandise for free and still wants to complain because of his poor attitude . [redacted] - OwnerSierra Glass Inc

Review: I brought in 3 projects; (1) Five 30 year old window frames that needed new screen, (2) 2 sliding door frames on wheels that needed new screen and wheels on the top and bottom and (3) a glass template to use to cut new glass to replace the glass in my outdoor light fixtures.(1)I was quoted $10.00 per window screen but when I picked them up I was charged $15.00 per screen. When I questioned the price the man said, "yeah, I remember saying $10.00 but the price is actually $15!" I shook my head and paid the price. However, when I got home, I noticed the screen had fallen out. When I looked at the screens I noticed that they used the same 30 year old rubber around the edges. Naturally I was upset and had to take them back and insisted that they be done over again using new rubber.(2) I was quoted $30.00 each for the screen doors, that quote included the wheels. When I picked up the screen doors a few days later I noticed the wheels had not been changed. In addition I was charged $20.40 for new wheels. Further, I was really upset to see the shoddy workmanship. The corners of the doors were no longer at a 90 degree angle and there were serious gaps in the pieces of the frame at the corners. I pointed out the poor workmanship and told him it was unacceptable. He said "that was the best I can do. They don't make the medal like they used to." He basically offered to give me another new set of wheels and told me to do it myself. So not only did I have to pay to have the job done, now I have to do the job myself if I want to use the doors.(3) The workmanship on the last project was equally as shoddy. Because I was so upset over the screen doors, I just took the wrapped glass pieces and left. When I got home and looked at the glass I found that the pieces were completely unusable. They are nowhere near the dimensions of the sample piece I brought in; they will not fit into in my light fixtures. This is another $75.68 spent on a product that is unusable.Desired Settlement: I want a total refund in the amount of $254.18
