[redacted]'s account has been closed/charged off with us since 11/13/2014 and sent to a third party collection agency for non-payment. We have not been in contact with Ms. [redacted] since. We have never received any payments from Ms. [redacted]. We believe her complaint is with the third party collection agency. [This is not a response to the specifics of my email. The response puts all further action on the 3rd party collections agency  who stated they had no record of my original document signed, only the ending balance of what's owed.  The collections company told me to contact the originator of the loan which is Sierra Lending for a copy. I contacted Sierra Lending and was brushed off stating there was nothing they can assist me with and did not have any information on my account including the original signed document because it had been sold to a 3rd party collection agency. Since I can not be provided with the original document of the loan signed with amounts stated that will accrue after time as well as the rules on defaulting, now I am really  going against the amount of the balance. This is an unprofessional practice if the original lender nor the collections agency can provide me requested documents.]

The issue is with Sierra Lending today I received an extremely threatening phone call to take me to small claims court and also stated that I will be served with papers tried to set up a payment, got no response left numerous messages contacted customer service via email no response asked for a supervisor to call me back never heard back and still haven't heard backDesired Settlement: Billing adjustment

Really am pissed off after finding out they took all the money I had and extra funds without authorization. No agreement was made and now trying to figure how to live the next two weeks without paying any bill no food no gas. Well Sierra Lending I am filing charges against you for going into my account without consent or authorization.
Be careful with dealing with this company since they do things against the book

PLEASE DO NOT USE SIERRA LENDING - IT WILL LEAD TO MORE TROUBLE. I borrowed $800.00 in December 2016 I did a payoff today April 26, 2017 of $690.00. In looking at my bank statements I have made $2240.00 in payments to them FOR AN 800.00 LOAN and principle is still at 600.00! I have just filed with Revdex.com because when I called to get my payoff they told me I owe 600.00 and they were going to charge 180.00 interest (5 days after loan was paid) but they felt they were being nice charging only $90.00. After all the $$$ over 2200.00 for an 800.00 loan you would think that they would forfeit the interest and just let you pay your principle. I paid it because I want rid of them but my complaint with Revdex.com is for a refund of the 90.00. Customer rep said she didn't know why they were charging so much, it was just their policy. If they can be flexible enough to drop it, then they can be flexible enough to forfeit it, especially since the rep didn't know why they charge what they charge. Once again.. PLEASE, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER COMPANY IF YOU NEED MONEY. This will put you in a bigger hole.

If I could I would give no stars to these scammers! I took out a $700 loan to help cover an increase in my property tax and have since paid them out $2,346.75 and still have a $650 to pay it off! I will be paying a perpetual bill at this point!
What was meant help me save my home has now become one of the main hardships and causes of me losing it! I will be seeking legal action because I was never told that this loan could go on forever and according to the representative I spoke with "they don't do settlements" Never. Ever. Do business with these horrid people!

I took out a loan from Sierra Lending back in December 2016.The loan was for $600.I was told that $198.00 would come out my account every two weeks starting December 30th until the loan was paid back.I emailed the company in Feb.(thinking I had paid my loan off)inquiring about another loan.I get an email stating I still have a balance.So I call and im told I hadn't even began to pay on my loan!So I ask well where did the monies yall been taking from me go to?She says there are all kinds of fees and so high as interest rate-which had I been told about the interest rate I would not have went no further with the application.So I proceeded to ask for a copy of the contract to be sent to me because I could barely understand her and I wanted to see what I had got scammed into.Needless to say im still waiting on my copy of the contract.Tthis is now April 2017 and I have paid in$1836.30.And I still owe the $600 from the loan.DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE!THEY ARE SCAMMERS!This was the first loan ive ever taken and I will never.ever.ever.ever loan from these ppl again.

Review: I applied for a short term loan with this company on-line. A man called me back and was telling me about their services at Sierra Lending. He stated that the first payment would be the "finance fee" and then if I didn't pay the loan off, the next three payments would be the payments towards the principal of the loan. I took out a loan for $350.00. To this date I have paid back to the company $658.00.

My current loan amount is $290.00

My current Finance Charge is $87.00

My current loan balance is still $377.00

I feel like I have been very misled with this loan. At NO time during our conversation, did the salesman tell me that I would basically be making payments ONLY on the interest. I had a live chat with one of their sales associates this mornign and he was absolutely no help.Desired Settlement: I'm not sure what you can do tohelp me with this situation. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated though.

Review: Payment of 150 and is only principal not touching balance is insane every two weeks! Under Rosenthal act fair debt collection practices my rights have been under seen and not correctly displayed. How is such payment legal ? It has brought much stress to me and is affecting me mentally and physically through their high outrageous payment plan they have more than received their 500 dollar loan. Ms. [redacted] was well aware of how the finance fees are assessed on her loan. The terms were verbally explained to Ms. [redacted] when she took out the loan, as well as explicitly detailed in the contract that she signed. In fact, Ms. [redacted] contacted our representatives on 6/5/2015 and scheduled a payment towards her principal balance for 6/10/2015. In addition to being informed when she took out the loan, Ms. [redacted] was advised via email on 6/23/2015 that the finance fees are the minimum amount to be withdrawn on her due dates and that she must call at least three business days prior to her due dates in order to schedule payment arrangements on her principal balance.

We value Ms. [redacted]'s business and regret to hear that she is dissatisfied with our services. Short term credit is not an inexpensive way to borrow funds and is not suitable for long-term borrowing needs. We would like to work with Ms. [redacted] to resolve the issue. Review: Hello, I am filing a complaint because I was led to believe I was just paying back what I had borrowed. I borrowed 400.00 in setember I have payed back about 560.00. I just found out that my annual percentage rate is 737.65 which is unheard of a complete scam. Sierra lending never went over the contract with me or explain to me about the percentage rate, if I knew it was that high in the beginning I would have never applied for the loan. I fill like I am be used and abused they should not get away with this type of scam. Sierra also told me in the contract by august when it is payed off I would have payed 2,062 which is a rip off this need to stop. I don't recommend anyone who needs a loan don't get it from Sierra Lending.Desired Settlement: I just want to pay what I borrowed and get back the extra that I have payed.

Review: I borrowed $500. from this company July 2014 and to this day I have paid them over $800. and my loan is down to $375. When I call them they keep on hold and never return to the phone it rolls over to voice mail and I leave a message and no one ever returns my calls. When I go to the company website and log into my account there is no option available to pay off the loan or to pay down the principal loan.Desired Settlement: I want this company to clear my debt after all the money I have given them and I will never do business with again.

Review: I applied for a payday loan advance through Everest, next I get a Sierra Lending email that they are processing my loan, I applied for Everest. Now that they have taken over $300 out of my account for a $300 loan they are sending me threatening emails from an "Anderson Law Group" but no name on any email.

Loan of $300 direct deposit on 07/08/2014, they were to take $300 plus finance and interest out of my account on 07/18/14. Instead they took $275 on 7/21/2014, $90 on 08/04/2014 then another $90 on 08/18/2014. Total of $455 paid already. They never took another payment out of my account. On 09/30/2014 I received an Email telling me that I need to pay them another $597.50.

Email: There was 2 missed payments on your account due to a debit card being expired. The dates for the missed payments are 9/12 $115 & 9/26 $107.50 --- The balance on this account is $597.50 ** Please call me today and set your payment plan back up with a valid debit card. I can freeze your balance at $597.50 and direct all payments made to your principal. Thank you and I will talk to you soon.

Review: I am being harassed by continuous phone calls regarding a payday loan. However, I do not owe them anything. I have an email that I received from Sierra Lending on Jan 30 stating that I do not owe any balance on my loan and that all collections activities would cease. But today someone called me from ARA stating that they were calling to collect monies for Sierra Lending and that they would show up at my employment or my home to serve court papers. The people from ARA could not even give me their address and they don't have a website. But I know it's Sierra Lending playing games with me. I do not owe anything and I need this to stop now. Can you help me please?Desired Settlement: I need them to stop contacting me right away. This is not right. I do not owe them anything.

I would recommend that you never borrow money from Sierra Lending. I was in a pinch and needed a quick loan to help pay for brake work on my car. When I got to a point where I could pay off the loan I went to their website to find out the exact amount I owed and about 2 days after I started receiving calls saying I owed more. Why wasn't this additional amount shown on my account page? But I just wanted to get them out of my life so I paid the amount but I still think it's shady. Okay venting over. Don't get a loan thru these guys or any other 'payday loan' company. They prey on those in the worst shape and then bleed you dry.

Review: I was told by the attorney general that this is an indian reservation lender and therefore not valid - thier interest rate is through the roof and they should not be allowed to make loans. This loan is not valid.

I applied through Western Sky for a loan on May 22nd. A window popped up and said I was approved with Sierra Lending for $500 and to call a number to finalize the loan. I never called the number, never received an email but when I checked my bank account a few days later I noticed a deposit from Sierra Lending in the amount of $500. So far two payments in the amount of $150 each have been taking out of my account towards the loan. One on June 9th and one on 23rd. I never received a loan agreement until I emailed Sierra Lending asking for one. To this day I am unable to log into the website.

I have never spoken to anyone regarding this loan. They never called to verify anything. The money was placed in my account with no one to verify I was who I said I was. Nothing was explained. I feel I have been taken advantage of because of my poor credit situation.

It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of (WA) in order to offer loans to its residents. Sierra Lending is not licensed by DFI and is not registered to conduct business in Washington State by the Department of Licensing, the Department of Revenue, or the Secretary of State. Washington residents are advised that state law provides in RCW 31.45.105(1)(d) and (3) that a small loan made by an unlicensed entity to a person physically located in Washington is uncollectible and unenforceable in Washington State.

Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid. Although I am not legally required to do so, I am willing to repay the remaining principal balance of $200 of this loan. To date, I received a deposit of $500. I have made 2 payments so far totaling $300. I am willing to make 4 (four) payments of $50 each on the following dates

Review: You are always placed on hold due to a “high volume call.” Also please take note when you go to the company website and log into your account there is no option available to pay off your loan or to pay down the principal loan. I feel like I have been very misled with this loan. I did not know I would basically be making payments only on the interest. I recently borrowed $700 from this company in September. For which I now believe was the biggest mistake I could have made. Since then (1) payment of $105 and (3) bi-weekly payments have gone through in the amount of $210.00. When I was FINALLY was in contact w/someone two days ago and was informed my loan pay off amount is $700.00. What?! I get it if my pay off was around $300 since I borrowed the money through them and had already paid them $735.00! I could not believe I still had to pay another $700. This is an outrageous interest rate! So of course this really upset me and I demanded to speak with a Supervisor because I felt misled and made prior attempts for a few weeks to pay off my loan. The representative pretty much brushed me off. She recommended I call back with my payment information (since I was driving) and would note my file to not charge any more interest on this loan if the full payment was made by the following day by 6 p.m. Please note it will be another $210 on top off of the $700 if I did not pay by 6 p.m. Well I did call the following day on my lunch break and breaks but was placed on hold each time. I did a live chat with one of their representative yesterday but she too recommended I call to pay $700. I informed her I had called many times and did not think if was fair to pay so much interest on a loan since I made prior attempts to pay off this loan. I again requested to speak w/a Supervisor. I provided my contact information and well I still have not yet heard back from anyone.Desired Settlement: Get this cleared. I'm a single mother and not in the position to pay over $1000 for a $700 loan.
