12/14/2017 Thanks for callingI put the mailbox back in place as best I could and threw away the landscaping lights they ran overThanks for asking me to provide a dollar amount I believe they should now pay me for this damage, but, you know what, I had written this off as they are just a bad company with bad reviews who are not going to do anythingSo, don't bother calling them to see if they would pay something to resolve thisI've decided to just forget it but thanks for checking

This repair was completed on June 15,

We serviced this address on May 10, 2018, we found that the unit was void of refrigerant, service caps not on all the way, king valves were open, and compressor valves are failingWe reported the same to his home protection plan which is *** *** ***, they have denied the claim due to the
valves being openWe do not have approve or deny these claims*** *** *** makes these decisionsWe are aware that another company was out prior to us and found the same thing, We let this customer know that this is something he needs to take up with his warranty company and send them the invoice from the other company, We can only report on what we find at the time we are at the home.Thank you,***Sierra Mechanical

I am rejecting this response because:
Sierra Mechanical responded with some information Considering their reputation across a variety of websites it is likely blatantly information.I first contacted Sierra Mechanical about the damage on 7/31, letting them know that I noticed the damage the SAME day as their technician was at my house but had not had a chance to contact them before the 31st due to being out of town I contacted them again on 8/1, 8/and finally on 8/was able to talk to the only person at Sierra Mechanical that I was told could take that kind of call On 8/I received a call back saying they would not do anything about their damage since their technician said he didn't do it and they saw "no damage" on their truck The vehicle that came to my house already had several dents, was not in good shape so I'm not sure how they were able to determine there was "no damage" to their truck, when the truck already had damage. As I informed them the first time I called, the damage was NOT there before their technician came and was present AFTER their technician left Considering that the first contact I had with their company, when a technician came out to assess the problem and then proceeded to lie to me about available options for the specific purpose of trying to convince me to purchase a brand new AC unit, the word of their technicians regarding anything, including property damage, is HIGHLY suspect Additionally considering how their representative who replied to my initial letter here lied about when I contacted them, it leads me to believe that the culture of falsehoods may very well be pushed from the top levels of the company down

Sierra Mechanical installed a compressor at this home on July 24, 2017. On Thursday August 3, Mr*** called to say he had went out of town the day after we installed the compressor and noticed when he returned that he had damage to his mailbox and his landscaping brick and solar light
and said that Sierra Must have done this. We talked with our service tech and he said he did not run into his mailboxIs it possible that this damage was done while the homeowner was out of town?

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They promise to mail me a refund, and I hope I will receive it
Sincerely,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/07/16) */
This repair was made on 6-16-15

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Today, I hired a third party HVAC contractor, [redacted] of Jim Reilly Service. He took a look at my unit and performed a diagnostic and fixed the problem on the spot, within 2 hours. The compressor was NOT broken and did NOT need to be replaced. I have attached my bill from him that shows what was done as well as the cost of repair that I paid. The tech found 40 MFD and 5 MFD compressor run capacitors, start capacitor, and a relay failed. The tech found that my system was 2 LB's low on freon. It is the opinion of [redacted] of Jim Reilly Service Co. that the technicians did not check correct levels of freon in my system after repair of the a-coil. 2 LB's of freon is a HUGE quantity lower than what my system needs to operate correctly. The compressor ran for several hours while low on freon and overheated the compressor. This caused failure of the capacitors mentioned above and caused the compressor not to run. The HVAC in my home has now been running since 3:30 this afternoon and my house is in the process of cooling.Whether this was a matter of incompetence by the technician from Sierra Mechanical or they were simply trying to sell more to me than I needed, Sierra Mechanical failed to complete the repair to my HVAC system and caused further damage to other components of my HVAC system. The "failure" of my compressor was not a "coincidence" as Sierra Mechanical states. I have now paid $798 to Jim Reilly Service Co. to perform the repairs to my system from damage that Sierra Mechanical has caused. Sierra Mechanical needs to reimburse me for this bill. Plain and simple. I work in customer service where I deal with 50-100 customers a day. Part of my job is admitting when and if I have made a mistake and Sierra Mechanical needs to own up to the mistake they made and reimburse me for having the job done right. Please see the attached invoice from Jim Reilly Service Co. I would like a phone call from an administrator, manager, or David the owner ASAP.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This involves a third party [redacted].
There are times when the authorization process takes longer than the contract holder would like,
This claim has been resolved.

I am rejecting this response because: They don't stand behind their work especially since I had to come on here just to get some kind of results. Very unprofessional and rude employees would never use again nor recommend and I'll continue to spread the...

word.
Sincerely,

This motor was not in stock at the manufacturer and had to be ordered. This job has been completed. As far as a trade call fee refund, homeowner will need to contact his home protection plan for a refund. This has nothing to do with our company, strictly the home protection plan.

Sierra Mechanical is sorry for the inconvenience of not being able to keep the original appointment. We do stand behind our work. We did try to reschedule and        homeowner was not willing to do that. We are sorry we can not offer a refund for the thermostat.

This customer has a home protection plan with Home Warranty of Warranty. We were notified by HWA on June 27, 2016 that he needed service, we made a service call at his home on June 29,  2016 at which time he had a leak in the indoor evaporator coil. HWA wad notified of the problem and requested...

a home inspection. The claim was approved and his home warranty ordered the equipment and sent it to us on June 18, 2016 we called him to make aware coil was in and set appointment we tried to set it for July 21, 2016 however customer wanted July 26, 2016. We then installed the evaporator coil and later in day Homeowner called and said temperature was rising, we sent technician back to home and found bad compressor, advised customer to call warranty company and place another claim. As of right now July 27,2016 @9:14 I am on hold with HWA warranty to try and get his compressor approved ( I have been on hold now for 47 min. Sierra Mechanical has no control over when HWA sends equipment. and has you can see we respond quickly, perhaps the delay is with HWA?
