After gathering the appropriate information regarding the installation from the parties involved, we have reached out to *** and resolved the complaintWe started the job on the 8th and accidentally hit the pipe which was improperly laid on an exterior wallWe did replace the old pipes and
moved where they were located but the issue was that we did not appropriately make this an emergency call to the plumberThe plumper was indeed called on the 8th but could not get there until the 10th, then moved the date to the 11th, resulting in the customer not having water for that longThe plumber came back to finish the work (replacing/installing all of new pipes) on the 14thWe then installed the carpet on the 15th.Although some factors were not in our control (pipe location/plumber delay), we take credit for that and have not collected the balanced owed and our team will be more vigilant in the future

It is against company policy to receive any cash without receipt however in order to settle the matter even in the absence of a receipt and the delay in the customer making the allegation, we will be issuing a credit without prejudice for the charge to move the furniture as a courtesy to himWhile
we aren’t questioning the customers sincere belief in what he heard, we couldn’t find support in interviewing staff members that heard the conversation that those particular words had been said to him.We hope this satisfies the customer and can close the complaint
