Sierra Range

Sierra Range (the owner) came out to our house to see why the heat wasn't working. I explained to him that the master bedroom stays very cold and that also we had a leak in the roof near there and to please check to see if that had anything to do with it when he was up in the "attic". He came down and said everything was fine and the leak had nothing to do with it and that we just needed to close some of the other vents upstairs to force more air to the master bedroom. He then charged us $60 for the call which we paid him. About a week later the leak was even worse and the master bedroom was still cold. We called and asked for someone different to come out and unfortunately they sent the same guy. This time when he went up into the "attic" he found that indeed the leak was cause by a broken vent pipe and that the vent on the roof needed replacing as well. So he fixed these things which resolved all the issues and then charged us $110. I called him later that day or the next and told him that I felt like we only owed him $50 because he should have found the problem the first time he came out and charged us $60. So I was willing to pay him $50 because of his mistake the first time. He basically said, no that people make mistakes and that we should have to pay for his mistake. I thought this was absolutely unfair and sent him a $50 check instead of the $110. He then sent me to collections for the other $60. I paid the collections so that my credit wouldn't get hurt. There was never a wrong parts problem! Sierra Range is incompetent and did not do the job correctly the first time they came out and made us pay for his mistake. That is just wrong and horrible costumer service.Final Business Response First trip out trouble was not there, no water. unit working.second trip ID trouble. Vent cap was the wrong size. insurance would not cover. repair OK by husband @ price submitted.

Has come out 5 different times and come up with 5 different problems and should have known the first or second time as to what was wrong.Had come out on 9.3.14 to look at the Air conditioner and said it was out of coolant so he added some Job #[redacted]. Came out again a week later and said it was the Compressor and came back to fix it another week later and had the wrong parts, so a couple days later he came back with the right parts and fixed it but didn't put any insolation on the piping causing it to ice over with 2in of ice. He came back the next week to take a look at it, did some tests and said that the condenser was broken. When testing it he cut the pipes in the wrong location and then pinching braising them which compromise the pipe.Desired SettlementRefund to Replacing the unit.Business Response This customer has cash out this claim. that is they have received money in lieu of repairs.
