It's a monopoly company that takes advantage of it's status and customers. They charge an outrageous price for less than mediocre service that is incredibly slow if it works at all. They know their outdated equipment doesn't work properly and they're fix is to attempt to charge you even more per month just to try to get what you were originally paying for.

Kristen was amazing! I live out of town. When came into pick up the new router box for our lake house, she graciously volunteered to go though the entire hook-up process in easy to understand direction. I am not much of a direction reader and this will make the process so easy!!!!

I have had STI as my internet provider and am very pleased with the quality of service I receive. My internet service is very dependable and allows me to do everything I need to do. When I have questions or need help with a new device their Customer Care Department is always patient, professional and helpful. Best service in town!

This is a top notch business. The staff is always helpful when I call in to ask questions about new devices, email settings, etc. Freda is particularly helpful and patient. She really knows her stuff. Their internet service is very dependable and I don't have any issues. I did have to upgrade at the recommendation of an employee and it solved my buffering issues while watching Netflix movies. Great company and great people from our community. Nice to talk to someone local when you call in.

I have been a Sierra Tel customer for about 5 years now. I use their phone and their internet. The long distance pricing on their phone service is so expensive you have to either get an outside provider or do what I do and use your cell phone for all long distance. I used to live in the Santa Cruz Mountains and paid $40 a month for broadband internet. I thought that was expensive, boy was I wrong. My old broadband service was much faster and I didn't have any of the problems I have with Sierra Tel DSL.
Sierra Tel needs to improve their technology. They need to connect all the fiber optic cable they have in the ground all over their territory. If you want to look at other reviews go to "yelp Sierra Tel" You will see about 13 negative reviews and no positive.
PS I had to give them 1 star because this program would not let me leave zero stars.
