Review: Hydrex was to eradicate a cockroach issue in our apartment building. Service was never completed, never on time, and never at full potental. Hydrex Pest Control was contacted in June of 2013 to help eliminate or control a cockroach problem. Upon speaking with the owner of Hydrex "B**" he had quarenteed our landlord that within $395.00 start up cost and a additional $70.00 monthly for maintenance the problem would be solved. Important to note that within that $395.00 his company would send a technician 3 times to eridicate the problem. This meant that they would come out and provide an all out assault upon the roaches meaning bombings intense spraying of chemicals that sort of thing. The first time they came was disasterious at least. We had an appointment booked for 8:00 am at 8:30 when the tech was not here we called Hydrex upon which we were told by the tech's supervisor he had no clue what we were talking about however he made arrangements and the tech. arrived at 11:30 am. Now, this poses a problem because all of the tenenats have to vacate from our homes for atleast 3 hours in June during the summer. When we entered our homes no real significant death was present a few roaches here and there at best. We have all been through this process before and we knew what to expect. We were told by the tech that his next visit should be in 10 days that second visit did not happen until about 30 days later when he was late and did not have the correct products with him so he applied some diluted product and laid "birth control". Being through this process we knew what to expect and the results were again horrible. We seem to be having a roach baby boom they were and are multipling at an alarming rate. We photographed many nights for proof to which our claims went unheard. For the third visit that took almost 45 days the tech repeadly told us the chemicals were not available that he personally had to go and get them from Bakersfield and so on. When he finally did come in August he claimed to have suffered a traumatic injury at an NFL game the previous Sunday. His performance that day was horrible he stumbled around he could not seem to focus he seemed to be completely out of sorts. We watched him carry one can of spray which he proceeded to use in all 8 units. This tech. was an absolute joke. He never took any thing any one of us had to say into consideration he felt the need to preach to us rather than listen to us. We live here we know what goes on. The products that Hydrex was using completely inferior. We can say this with confidence as we have dealt with Hydrex before about 2 years ago at which time they had the problem completely solved. We lived roach free. So, we as consumers are fully aware that the problem can be solved they have done it before. This time around they made no real effort its almost as if we were a bother. We asked Supervisors and managers alike to come with the technician and see the problem up close nobody ever came they promised they would come but nobody ever did. We believe in order to understand the problem you have to tackle the problem head on these people could not be bothered. Now billing began immediately and has continued since. We have never claimed that the bill would not be paid however we want the problem solved first like they had told us. Instead of listening to us they sent the bill to collections and now our land lord is in collections. We have no problem with paying the bill but please provide and complete the service that is all we are asking. "Bill" has told us that he believes we are refusing to pay and that we are making the issues up how ever not the case. "Bill" we have asked several times for them to come here and see the problem for themselves and understand we have seen them solve this specific problem before wonderfully whith great results. We know they can do it we just want to know why this time they don't want to?Desired Settlement: All we are really asking for is for them to complete the job they were hired to do. A job they have done before in the past and we will issue them a check the same day. We also more importantly want the land lord taken out of collections.
