Last December, [redacted] received a deposit to replace our counter tops. He didn't do the work and didn't refund the deposit.
In December of 2012, [redacted] came to our home to give an estimate to replace our counter tops. We agreed to a price and the time frame that the work would be completed between Christmas and New Years. [redacted] received a cash deposit of $300. He agreed to complete the work in the time specified. He did not. Even after failing to meet the initial time frame we asked for him to complete the work in the beginning of 2013. He would not commit to a date or time. We asked for our deposit back and he repeatedly said it was in the mail. It has been almost a year and we simply want our money back. We don't want thsi to happen to other unsuspecting consumers.
