Supervisor was to call to discuss issue with contractor sent to house to mark sewer line, no call. Vectren has failed to complete work.
On 24 April a Vectren representative came to our home with a service order to shut off our gas. This was because an appointment had not been made to have a leak detection test performed. Previously, I had contacted the contractor for the leak test and agreed to set up an appointment once an evening appointment became available. I was told by contacting them the service would remain on since it was noted in the database. No further contact was made. On the 24th Vectren shut off the gas even though we were available to have the test completed this was due to a leak being found. It took almost 24 hrs for the gas to be turned back on.
On 25 April at 8am a contractor from [redacted] came to the house to mark sewer lines even though they were informed a 3 yrs was sleeping they were extremely noisy to include one of them setting off a water leak detection alarm just because they were "curious" as to how it sounded. They woke up my 3 yr old along with made a "graffiti scene" in our front lawn. This crew was very unprofessional and Vectren was notified while they were on-site of the issues. I was told a supervisor would call me , but no return call.
A second crew came out to fix the leak on the 25th, this crew was very professional and did an excellent job.
However, after one week I have still not been contacted by a supervisor and my front lawn has ruts, bare spots along with curbs and yard have paint on them. I would like to get my yard and curbs back to the way they were prior to Vectren coming on site.
Also, this organization needs to review their customer service. In my many attempts to resolve this issue with them they refuse to take ownership of the issue and push the issue through their system. They often blame other departments for their issue along with lack of fully integrated computer systems.
