The client in question had an interlock device installed on 11/20/At this point we had noticed quite a few aftermarket parts installed on the vehicle which were done very poorly. After the install the client had two incidents where he refused to blow through the device in the time allowed
which rendered the vehicle inoperable. While resetting the device so it was operable again, the client was extremely vulgar to our employees. He was then notified his attitude and language is not acceptable and if he kept it up we'd have to deny service at this service center. On 12/21/15, days after installation, the owner of the vehicle (*** Grandfather) came in and had the device removed. At this point there were NO mention of the vehicle malfunctioning. The vehicle was fully operational after I.L device was removed. It drove in and left under its own power, showing the vehicle in question operated correctly before and after removal. At no point after 12/21/has this Client attempted to contact us with any dispute or issues. His accusations say the issue was from the installation of the I.L device incorrectly into the Main wire harness of the Vehicle, Sight and Sound DID NOT add any wire to the main harness. The ONLY connection made near the harness in question was at the starter approximately 12" away from the main harness, where wires have been cut and re connected with old connectors pre Sight and Sounds install. ALL connections at time of our installation were correct, proof is by the days installed with no issues besides the user error on the clients behalf which rendered the vehicle inoperable. Attached are pictures of the harness in question showing the main harness where damaged and our connection well below in a separate harness 12" away. Also, we have attached a statement written by the service tech doing the diagnosis and work at Titus Will Chevy. He states, "Main cause of data line issue is the aftermarket air box installed before customer bought car from Ford." We strive for the best customer service and relations here and is why Sight and Sound is one of the best Audio Shops in the state. These accusations are and proof is shown in the pictures and this explanation.
