Inexusable behavior.
I had a trip to Italy scheduled for Sept 2020' I gave a six hundred dollar deposit. As cov19 spread I wanted to cancel unlike other reputable tour groups they refused to return my deposit and even took off 100 dollars in charges and offered me a 500 dollar on future trips. I will never travel with them' they even add a surcharge if you pay by charge. Robin Nelson.

In response to the filed complaint, our company was upfront and clear with [redacted] from the time she registered for this tour, and all pertinent information was available not only on our website but in the documentation sent to the entire tour groupIn regard to the Brazilian visa, we provided the group with explicit instructions and a timeline as to how and when the tourist visa needed to be obtained; [redacted] had difficulty procuring her visa in time, so we worked overtime to finally find her an agency that could help her expedite the process despite the fact that clients were notified that they would be responsible for handling this matter themselves and we were under no obligation to facilitate The tour leader for this particular trip is also the owner of the company, and has over a decade of experience leading tours; she was never late for a reservation, whether dinner or scheduled touring activityClean bottled water was available throughout the tour, and the group was lodged in luxury five-star accommodations in Rio de Janeiro and Foz do IguacuDuring the trip, [redacted] voiced no complaints or concerns with the tour leader, and upon return we have received no communication or comments from her whatsoever Terms of payment as well as what is and is not included in the tour cost are clearly labeled on the website as well as the documentation sent to clients; we did specify that guide tips were optional but not included in the tour cost, and [redacted] was free to tip or not tip as she pleasedOur Terms and Conditions state that full payment was due within days of the tour, and [redacted] was made aware of this at the time of registration Tour information was at no time and in no way erroneous or duplicitous, and [redacted] ’s comments before the tour began implied that she faulted us for her initial difficulty in obtaining a Brazilian tourist visa despite the considerable assistance that was offered on our endWe provided every activity outlined in the itinerary as well as additional experiences, and [redacted] received everything for which she paid and was promisedConsequently, we can see no reason as to why [redacted] should be awarded any portion of a refund

regret that ** *** feels unsatisfied by her experience and our response to
her complaint, but unfortunately we were not afforded the opportunity to
rectify any situations with which she had an issue, as she never expressed
these opinions during the tour or made any attempt to contact us afterwards
with her concernsOur operations manager personally contacted an extensive
list of visa agencies in order to find one who would be able to obtain a
Brazilian tourist visa for ** *** in time, even after the major agencies
said this would be impossible given the fact that the consulate in San
Francisco was severely overwhelmed with applications during this time period
We have received no complaints from any of the other ladies who were with ** *** on this tour, and we are happy to provide either the correspondence
between ourselves and ** *** and/or documented testimonials from her
fellow tour participants stating that the Brazilian trip fulfilled everything
that was promised, and indeed exceeded their expectationsWe are committed to
giving each of our clients the best tour possible, and we are more than willing
to intervene on our clients’ behalf and pull whatever strings necessary to
correct unsatisfactory circumstances, but ** *** did not register any
complaint or concern whatsoever during the tour, when we could have taken the
appropriate steps to improve her experienceOffering recompense after the tour
has already concluded is not a reasonable measure for us to take in light of
the fact that ** *** has not shown adequate proof as to our supposed
misinformation
