Review: I hired Mr. Johnson to take pictures of me in September of 2012. The shoot was fine and I paid him cash $200. I receive the pictures in January of 2013 after having to ask him for my pictures more than once. Upon receipt of the pictures I was not happy at all because the concept was not correct. We did a reshoot in February and once again I looked dull and my pictures lacked life. Once again I had to hunt Mr. Johnson down for product. We did another shoot in April and upon his advice I had my makeup done professionally. Once again I had to hunt down Mr. Johnson for my product. Upon receipt of the work it was rushed and done without care. He never made any of the deadlines that he imposed. He worked and delivered product for other clients who were shot later than me. I honestly believe that there was also some ageism practiced due to the fact that I'm a older client. We never had a sit down meeting to discuss the matter. It's impossible to communicate with Mr. Johnson because his phone is always off and he ignores text messages via iphone or [redacted]. He has apologized half heartedly and has never taken the initiative to resolve the situation without coaxing from myself. This situation has made me immensely upset and caused me great stress. Even now as I typed this complaint I have tried to contact Mr. Johnson and he still is refusing to fix nor address the situation. Even though I considered Mr. Johnson a friend I have always paid him for his service in a timely manner but he has not conducted himself like professional and seems to only care about his celebrity clients. $200 may not seem like a lot of money but he was paid and I basically got screwed. Ive been in customer service in some capacity or another for over 20 years and I tread all my clients with respect regardless of dollar amount spent age or gender. Clearly this is not something Mr. Johnson believes in sense he only cares and shouts out who he feels can advance his cause or career. Well I too have a career and brand to protect and these pictures did not add to any of that.Desired Settlement: I would like my pictures to have the same quality that he gave to all his other clients. I have a good face and pictures that I took of myself with my iphone should not have been of better quality than pictures taken by a professional photographer. I would like someone to review the pictures I received and the work Mr. Johnson has completed for others. I want restitution for the stress this has cause me and the blatant disrespect that he has shown me as a client. I want a sincere and honest effort and not a half hearted one to resolve the situation. Most importantly I want a sincere apology in person not via text or email. I dont want to be discriminated against for being a woman of 43.
