Sign A Rama Dixie Reviews (1)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I was treated very rudely and unprofessionally and was hung up on twice by the owner [redacted] when I called her store on March 27, 2013. I have done business in the past with the Sign-a-rama location on Dixie Hwy as well as the one on on East Market Street here in Louisville Ky as recently as 10 months ago. I called this morning to inquire about getting a partial vehicle wrap for my vans and was met with very poor customer service from Ms [redacted].
I was very detailed on what I was looking for. I told her the vehicle make and model,
the square footage that I wanted covered, as well as the image that I wanted on the
digitally printed graphics. She said she would have to see the vehicle at which time I
told her that it was a standard 16 foot E 150 ford van and that I only wanted a rough
estimate for just the sides. I also told her that I already had the windows lettered
there previously. I advised that with a little effort (namely a google search) she would
find thousands of images and specs online of my exact vehicle type.
Ms. [redacted] kept talking over me throughout this unproductive "conversation" as
if she was not listening to what I was telling her. She seemed to be rushing me off the
phone and was dismissive to the point that I felt as if I was bothering or annoying her
by simply trying to do business with her shop.
I was very specific and succinct yet and was just looking for a fair ballpark
guesstimate but she demanded that I bring the van in so she could look at it. When I
again asked he for a rough estimate she said something about $4,000. This was without the front, top, or back being wrapped. I inquired as to why it would cost so much and she became even more combative and hostile. I asked if there was a general price per square foot that is normally charged and she said it depends on the graphics. I stated that I wanted the graphics to be $5 bills all over the sides. She rudely said she was not going to help me with that and to call somewhere else. She then hung up while I was trying to ask a question.
I called the store back and asked the man who answered the name of the (so called)
lady who had just hung up the phone on me. He placed me on hold then a few moments later [redacted] picked up the line. I asked her for a number to the corporate office so that I could call in a complaint. She said 561...then she said "you know what, just google it". Than she hung up on me again.
I have been a business owner for many years and I have never come across another
business owner with such a poor attitude. It's even more disappointing because I had
banners done last year there and vinyl lettering for my vans done there a couple years
ago. This is not the way to treat a returning customer, or any customer for that matter. I could not imagine this behavior being acceptable on the corporate or any level. Needless to say, I will not be doing business there as long as it is under the same ownership and management and I will recommend that others (via social media, Linkedin, and various other national and local sites) refrain from doing so as well.
