Refund Check mailed - 11-28-Elite Sports CA has a long standing NO REFUND policy that is stated very clearly on all of our event websitesThis policy by the way is standard for most sporting events in this industry.We will occasionally approve refunds on a case by case basisIf a refund is approved it will take as much as to weeks to be processed in order to verify that chargeback efforts have been processed on this transaction.We have enclosed a snapshot of our registration page of our website for your review and a copy of the letter that was included to the athlete with the refund check if in fact one was approved.In the case of a refund that was processed through Acitve.com the athlete will receive an email from Activecom that confirms their refund to the credit card that was used for that transaction.I hope this answers any questions you may have.ThanksELITESPORTS CALIFORNIA

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:I have contacted this business multiple times prior to contacting Revdex.comI heard this line before, on race day in FebruaryWhy would I believe it now? It's been months Send the medal, provide me tracking as proof, but don't give me the same line I've heard beforeWhy would it take you over days to response if you have any intention of making the situation right? I will look into this one later tonight However I have explained to ALL athletes that we have a NO REFUND policy and this policy is noted on our website and on ALL registration confirmations that athletes are provided with We however occasionally grant refunds on a case by case basis The refund will be provided to this athlete as long as they have not submitted a charge back that is what I have to checkout firstthanks B [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I understand that the business has a no refund policy, however THEY CANCELLED the event that was scheduled Therefore the company broke our contract I purchased an item from the business, the business did not uphold their side of the agreement If the business cancels the event, then the no refund policy cannot be valid as they did not meet there end of the transaction.Please see the attached chain of emails between myself and the owner of the business They stated on February 13th that the refund would be give "in a few more days" I waited a full week before reaching out to Bill for status, however I have yet to get a response weeks have passed since that was told to me by B*** *** I have checked my account everyday I still do not have my refund of my registration fee of an even that was cancelled by Elite Sports California Several other participants have also told me that they have not gotten any response from Bill regarding their refund I will keep my complaint open with the Revdex.com until I receive my funds back.

I am rejecting this response because:Elite Sports in December cancelled a marathon that was scheduled for Jan stating that if you wanted a refund for the event they will
process it in a few weeksThrough various emails with Elite Sports they never submitted a refundAfter filing a complaint with the Revdex.com Elite Sports stated they would refund the money on to date no refund has been receivedElite Sports has not responded to any recent phone calls.To be fully refunded the amount we paid for an event that was cancelled

I am rejecting this response because:Per the last response of the business, I should have gotten a refund by "the end of the week" It is Friday, the end of the week, and I have yet to receive my funds back from Elite Sports California.Please confirm that my refund has been processed I have never dealt with a professional business that takes over a month to process a simple refund

Update: Seaside Half Marathon medalsWe announced on race day several times over the PA system, that the medals for this race did not come in on time and that we would be hand delivering or mailing out the medals as soon as they came in On Monday after the race the medals did in fact come in We spent the next two weeks hand delivering over medals to individual addresses We then took the next two weeks to package and mail out the raining 600+ medals to ALL finishers of this race Amanda's medal was mailed out on March to the address that was in our registration system that is filled out by the athleteUSPS Tracking number: 95***8***unfortunately the address that was in our system that we sent this to was missing the apartment number and it was sent back to us. After a detailed search of our data base I could not find any email messages from A*** *** on this subjectNow that we have the full address the medal has been mailed again the correct address USPS tracking #95***8***

After reviewing the email chains on this matter I see what happened now.  The athlete originally asked to be transfered to another event in February.  We complied with that request and prior to the Feb 19 race date the athlete informed us she was injured and wanted to get a refund.  We have had our hands full since that time with other event duties and will get this athlete their refund later this week.  We have also emailed the athlete directly to let her know this.  thanks  B[redacted]

As stated on ALL of our event websites and several times during the registration process we have a NO REFUND policy.  There is actually a button that says "click here to confirm the no refund policy"  and yes that button was clicked.    However we did agree to refund this athlete...

their registration fee and we will be completing that refund on Monday March 3rd.   Thanks  B[redacted] Elite Sports CA
