I did in fact speak with the person mentioned and when she moved out of the unit htere was glass and items left that the owner of the property had to haul outI have been here for years and have never rented a unit to someone with items
insideI did tell her that I would look into this and I have contacted the owner as we are just the manaagement companyI am waiting on a response from the owner and once I receive that I will let the tenant know what they have decidedI did mention to the tenant that if there were items in that unit when they rented it it was never brought to our attention or we certainly would have cleaned that out for themI will get in touch with them once I get an answer on my end

I have already responded to this complaint and the owners agreed to return half of the security deposit to the tenant and this was done so on December 2,

I will accept the half refund of the security deposit at $from the $depositSimply because I am not going to carry on my complaint any longer than thisI am disappointed that the company obviously still believes that I had left the unit uncleaned when the wood and glass items were already there when the unit was first rentedI hope that the next tenants will have a clean unit to begin with and not get their security deposit forfeited like we hadIn the community we live in, we are trustworthy and friendly, I was not about to throw away somethings that did not belong to me and that were there alreadyThank you for the quick handling of the issue Revdex.comI would have been waiting many more months for a resolution from SMCI will not be using SMC again
