As previously discussed with customer, we were waiting on necessary information to process a $refund as an apology for the belt not being included in the bag with the bridal gown at the time of pickup. Our contract requires written instructions when a Bride allows anyone else to pick up her
dress. The Bride had her Groom pick up her dress without these instructions and we were unable to follow our protocol to show each and every item included in the pickup because we did not know whether he could see her dress prior to the weddingWe were only told the belt was missing days later, on the morning of the wedding. We drove the belt to East Texas, a hour round trip, and it arrived prior to the wedding so the Bride was able to wear her belt on her special day. We also included a free bridal headpiece as an apology. We asked the mother of the Bride to provide the necessary information for us to issue the offered refund. She did not provide the necessary information until February, when we promptly remitted the refund. We have never heard an unpleasant comment from the Bride, but now understand her mother demands a refund of the cost of the dress which was never offered. We consider this matter to be resolved as we have made every effort to resolve the situation
